Keep up the good work! You are the first youtuber which is not reviewing/presenting the usual tourist stuff everybody else does from Seoul! Thank you for that! I subscribed and looking forward to see more recommendations from you!❤
Super great content, it's really great to see a completely different non-touristy spots in Seoul. Thank you Sean P, I'm a big fan of yours already. Can't wait for your video about outdoor places!
Watching this right now since I'm trying to find places that I can 'present' to my mom and my aunts because we're going to Seoul next month! It's going to be their first time so all they want to go to are the most famous tourist places. Your videos are a huuuuge help 'coz it will help me convince them more! Thank you so much!
Wonderful tips ! I should have watch this video before I went Seoul just last month ( Sep 2024). We love Seoul n I’ll definitely follow these tips on my next trip - thanks !
I am coming back to Seoul after 8 years so I have been looking for places to bring my family on their first visit - thank you for this thoughtful list!
Hi Sean. Thanks so much for this video. Very informative, and will also be helpful for me and my wife, as we're going to be visiting Seoul in May with some friends. We're tango dancers and need things to do during the day and this list of places you've shown will definitely be on our list. Who knows, we might bump into you on your next video :)
good to hear that this is helpful. Seoul in May would be the perfect month of the year to visit as the weather's nice and there would be many outdoor activities to do as well.
Thank you so much for making such amazing content!! I'm studying Korean and I'm so happy that I'm finally visiting Korea in November all I could find was the same recommendations all over, which is also lovely, but I truly wanted something local and authentic. Your content makes me feel closer to the country I love and admire, thank you
Found this Channel today, You deserve more traffic! Been visiting South Korea since 2004 and places like Hongdae and Myeongdong lost its charm and feel years ago. Thank you for these tips, liked and subscribed!
I’ve been researching for an upcoming trip to Seoul and this has been the most helpful video so far. Your videos seem trustworthy. I hope you do a restaurants version of this video, as most of the videos on TikTok, etc. are made by tourists not locals. I’m especially interested in knowing where locals go for ganjang gejang amd gamjatang
I just found your channel, and I'm pleasantly surprised. Thank you! It is informative, straight to the point. My husband and I are planning to visit South Korea and Japan in the future. Do you have videos on historical sites, sea food restaurants, and cosmetic shops?
Thank you very much. I’m coming to Seoul for 2,5 months in Spring. I’ll visit all these places you’ve mentioned in your video. I just loved it. Would you kindly consider making a video on where to stay (for mid-age people)? 😅 Thank you
great! was looking for jjimjilbang in Seoul but I afraid too shady or dirty but the ones you show is perfect for our last day in Seoul...to rest and wind down...thank you!
Which is why I recommend using Naver map over Google map. I've checked again, the place is open. It was closed only for today, Apr.19th. I'll also upload another video and online tutorial guides soon to address this type of issue, so stay tuned.
I missed this video when i was in Seoul recently. Makes it another reason to head there. Btw, why was the cafes so empty? Usually its filled to the brim 🤔
Thanks for visiting my channel. As for your question, it's because I visited those cafes at an opening time on rainy weekdays. Yes, those cafes are usually packed up on weekends.
Thanks for your comment. These places are in the city of Seoul and you can mix them into your schedule even if it's your first visit. I hope you would have more variety of local experiences from this tip.
Thanks for visiting. It depends on what you would like to expereience. If you are looking for traditional landmarks, central Seoul (i.e. Jongno or Gwangwhamoon) is the place. For more young vibe, Hongdae or Seongsoo are recommended.
@@abitdifferentkoreans mainly proximity to good food selection, shopping, easy access to other parts of the city as well as from/to the airport. I've stayed in Hongdae/Myeongdong before. Among Insadong, Hongdae or Seongsu, which is best?
Fica a sugestão. Muito obrigada. Estou no outro lado do mundo, em São Paulo, BR
Thanks for visiting. When you type in Naver Map on google or apple appstore, it will appear (maybe in Korean), but you can spot it right away as there's Naver Corp. notation. Once you download the app, you can change the language setting to English. Hope this helps.
