    YES! I'm right on track then. So happy to hear Eddie promote the exact routine I started a few weeks ago.
    Cycle between Wide Grip Swiss Bar and Narrow Grip Straight Bar.
    As he says, I'm alternating between Chest and Triceps. Right now my Tri's are basically the strongest muscle in my body (after a few years of doing narrow grip bench exclusively), so to develop an optimal bench I need to focus on the chest some days, but I don't want to lose my Tricep strength, so alternating seems like the best choice.
    I would do everything on a straight bar but that aggravates my elbows.

      Ironically I've also abandoned the seven day lifting cycle and set on five days between workouts.
      A few months ago I injured myself in a failed squat, but that was with "leg day" combining both DL and Squat. So now, I rotate between Squats and Deadlift every five days, so I'm doing "A Leg Workout" every five days, but it's ten days between Deadlifts or Squats, ensuring my body is really fresh for each type of lift on a given workout.

    After you hit 300kg - get Josh Bryant to do your programming! He's the best bench press coach in the world! Trained Jeremy Hoornstra, James Strickland and the current world record bench presser Julius Maddox, I believe. And he literally wrote the book on bench press training lol (seriously, look up "Bench Press: The Science" on Amazon)

    You are lucky to have such an amazing training partner. Understands you goals as well as his own, knows just how to spot you and is there to train if you can't or wont keep up he'll just keep cracking on and pushes you.

    Been a long time since I have been at the gym, but since starting back 2 months ago and doing my best to mirror The Beast’s training philosophy I have already seen large improvements. Another month and I’ll hopefully “stack out” the bicep curl machine (tiny brag haha). Heavy sets, time under tension, much love, let’s do this! Thanks Eddie

      Inorite? Recovery takes 10 days so don't hit the chest, just do a 220 banded bench as that'll rest it

      Obviously works though. 2017 worlds strongest man, 5x British strongest man, multiple world record holder, and going for another with the 700lb bench press. So an exercise in practical science.

      This sort of training is ok for people who are enhanced but it'll destroy the progress of those who choose a natural path. The bench press with bands example that you cite is a prime example as to why people should take the advice from these videos with a pinch of salt. It's just nonsense.

    I hope no one is taking Eddie's advice regarding a 10 day rest with major muscle groups. He is a strongman not a scientist. If you're a trained & CONSISTENT lifter, 72 hours is plenty of recovery time and is the optimal recovery time. No hate, just clearing out misinformation!

    I honestly think Martyn is a better training partner for you!! My opinion is you should try to train with him for the next 4 weeks as he's strong and helps with the pushes!! Screaming at your training partner to push helps so so much!! Great video Eddie, much love

    Great job, love the new videos. Hopefully whoever’s doing the drone work is across the legal side of things? I’m sure some of the shots I’ve seen will wind up quite a few people in the drone industry if they saw them. Flying low over public roads etc. Just a heads up. All the best

    Glad things are progressing as planned. I'm a little disappointed with my bench session this week as I was due to do 150 for a treble and then 152.5 for a treble too but only managed two doubles. Nevermind, try again next Weds...
