  • In this video we'll show you how to install the 3D Cycle Parts Auxiliary light kit on any 2022 and up klr650. This new kit has bright and rugged led lights with custom bolt on brackets that eliminate clearance issues, and an most importantly...a purpose built wiring harness that is completely plan and play and ties the function of the Auxiliary lights to the high beams. Let's get started!

    Between all the new middle weight ADV bikes on the market, we KLR owners appreciate you guys not leaving us out in the cold.

      You're welcome. One of our goals is to make the KLR as highly supported with aftermarket upgrades as any other bike on the market.

      @@3dcycleparts well you’re doing a fantastic job. Other than a few bits and bobs, everything my KLR wears has come from you guys, including the doohickey kit I’m about to install. Keep up the good work.

    Heck ya!!
    I swear you guys have my house bugged. I will be ordering this set up.
    Anything coming down the pipeline to clean up or replace the stock turn signals to LED?
    Take my money:)

    Why didn't they not make the light bracket black like the other one

    Is there a plug and light with similar install that can be added to a tusk bar? One that quite as big as the factory maybe?

    That’s pretty slick. How about it tying into the fog light button on the Adventure model?

    • @3dcycleparts
      @3dcycleparts  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you!! That button location is one of the biggest complaints I've seen about the Gen 3 and I agree. It's horrible. What we've developed is an adapter that will tie your Adventure Aux Lights into our harness so that all four lights are controlled by the high beam. They'll be on the website this week.

      @@3dcycleparts The button is kind of dangerous to operate while riding off road & on gravel roads. But it would be convenient to be tied into it. I learned to be stopped before I even try pressing it 😂

      My complaint about the Gen3 Adventure is the flap over the usb port. It’s poorly executed, not sure what Kawasaki was thinking when they gave it their seal of approval.

      @@LordDeadSpideri agree! The usb port cover is such an odd design. Almost would be better if it was a screw on cap or a regular plug like the cigarette lighter on the other side. I hit a bump and it popped open. The aux light switch is terrible too. And whats with all the dimples for “future” switches in the dash? Odd shaped cutouts.

    Hi, nice video. From what I can see in the video, the auxiliary lights only work with the high beams. Is the wiring prepared for using an external swich so the auxiliary lights can be used with the low beams also? Best Regards. S

    • @3dcycleparts
      @3dcycleparts  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      No, they work on high beams only. In all my years of riding I haven't ran into a scenario when I'd need this type of auxiliary light on with the low beams and I do not like cumbersome switches that are added in inconvenient places. Tying the auxiliary light operation to the high beam solves all of these frustrations in my opinion. They're far too bright to use with other cars in sight so it's nice to control them without adding an unnecessary routine. Thanks for the question.
