When KG was auditioning at the regionals shown in the episode 3 of A2K and J.Y. Park told her that she would become so special if she sang with her own voice, I didn't really understand what he meant at that time even if I knew she was a good singer, but now in the first chorus of this debut song 2:11, I realize that KG's vocal tone is so special like for real. J.Y Park: "It's your voice, KG."
I love how us older people who watched A2K and who are reacting to these girls are all unanimous in feeling: “They’re like family!” “I’m SO proud of them 🥺”
I don’t think you noticed but at 7:30 Kaylee looks over at savanna and she is already on stage and then when she looks away she loses her confidence and it’s likely that that scene is Kaylee thinking Savanna is doing really good and she needs to better which leads me to my next theory that they are practicing being an idol but at the end Camilla foresees them as having succeeded in their dream.

From the time they auditioned til now, it's been great to see them grow in the Kpop system as JY planned from the beginning. 💃🏻 I enjoyed this song as much as Ready for the World, and maybe slightly more. Like you, I also liked the bass at the beginning, and the build-up to the chorus. Kendall with the crawling part was a cool surprise to the choreo. I'd love to find out who did the high note in the last chorus, just before the end. And the cake during their live stream revealed the fandom name as VLIGHTS. I liked how they sang happy birthday to us VLIGHTS. 🎉 Oh, and I liked how KG showed how she plays an acoustic version of this song on her guitars. 👍

I know people keep questioning of any J.Y.PARK decisions, but people also keep forgetting that he is a producer who had been produced a lot of group for more than 20 years now, like you said he know what he's doing, creating a group is different from debuting a solo singer, a group need balance, and he always find that while other people can't see it, VCHA is another proof that he did a good job by choosing them, the group has a great balance, from vocal, dance, stage presence, visual. I thought it was a good debut song for them, wasn't sure if I was going to like it at the beginning, but by the time it got to the chorus I was enjoying it pretty well. I thought it got better as it progressed, but didn't grab me from the beginning. The chorus gives me Twice vibes. Looking forward to more from them, I know they will only get better.
