The positive attitude in the image and lyrics is what I like as a parent. Also brings back memories of my daughter and I roleplaying A2K... loool. She's only 6 but made me print out a pendant, and we'd do like entire episodes showing our talents, taking turns being JYP, haha! She was a brutal JYP as well btw!!!!

I’m going to guess that this song wasn’t completely finished until the lineup was completed, since Savanna’s rap almost perfectly calls back to her interview in LA, while Lexi’s reflects very well her somewhat rough road in Korea and how she just kept on fighting until she made first place at the end.

After nearly 14 years of primarily listening to K-pop, I kind of expected that having a group of North American girls singing a song in English with the whisper of “JYP” would seem a little weird…but it didn’t, not least because we got the whisper at the end of the closing of every episode. I’ve wondered over these years what an American group trained in a K-pop paradigm would look and sound like. Now we finally get to find out.
