      Somewhere in your guitar sample chain the left and right channels sound out of phase with each other.(your IE there is a reverse polarity not unlike happens when stereo loudspeakers are improperly connected out of phase with each other).

    I personally liked the player series for the clean, and the twisted series for the dirty. the noiseless pickups sounded muddy to me.

    All are very nice looking/sounding guitars!
    Lots of options for anyone looking to buy a tele, like I am. Thanks Landon! 🙏🤟

    I liked having the blind comparison, that really helps to focus on the tone. I liked all three in different positions, but liked the Fender noiseless best, it’s not too bright

      Blind comparison changes the video and the way your brain processes the sound completely - just focusing straight in on the sound!

      On the contrary, it is clear and more readable than the X. It is quite similar to the Z guitar. 4Gen Winner for me

    Excellent comparison, thanks. I was thinking it would be a great idea if you did this very thing and you did. I liked the sound of all three guitars, however I could not make up my mind of which was which. I thought if somebody pushed me to pick one , I would go with X, and that happened to be the Player series, which I happen to own (a beautiful black one). So I have to say, you helped me reaffirm the fact that I made a good decision, in my choice to buy one. Lucky you, you own all 3, congrats. Enjoy them in good health and thanks again. Cheers.

    "Some days you do well, and some days you do... the other thing" The weird shit you say is like half the reason I watch your videos
    Edit: I guessed the guitars right once I heard the distorted sound. I like distortion so I think I liked the player pickups the least, then it was really close between noiseless and twisted, but noiseless wins for me, I felt there was more clarity in the distortion with those. Also the twisted were warmer than I expected in the clean part.

  • @BreadandFaxes
    @BreadandFaxes ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I knew the last one was the twisted. they are balanced oddly in their output where the neck is like 7-8k but the bridge is nearly 11k which I think I could hear that extra output anytime the bridge was introduced.
    The best sounding was the 1st one, but I honestly thought the first one was the noiseless because it seemed to have less "chatter" when playing.

    • @MichelLamblin
      @MichelLamblin 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Same. I had a preconceived notion that Twisteds would pop out here as my favorite (though I've never played a Tele with them), and I assumed they were guitar Y, which I preferred. Felt there was a nice glassiness to the middle position of guitar Y, with bridge and neck elements coming out balanced.

  • @richardwhitehead4684
    @richardwhitehead4684 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    They sounded quite similar to me. The biggest difference I notice was in the neck PU. Player sounded a bit brighter. More Strat like. But just by a bit. Bridge PU’s seemed very close, but again the player felt a smidge brighter. Last comment is about what the player seemed to lack. It seemed to NOT have that slight ‘muted’ quality that I hate. Noiseless PU’s did this the most. Unsurprisingly. My preference was for the player, but again, they all sounded like telecasters.

    This was great, thanks a ton! My notes went like these (no middle position): I liked best Z on clean neck, dirty neck, clean bridge. I wrote "fullest sound all around?" for clean neck. But for dirty bridge I gave the edge to Y. I liked X quite a lot on clean neck, more than Y. I did NOT like X or Y on dirty neck. I wrote okay for Z. I liked X over Y also on clean bridge. On dirty bridge everything got upside down, with Y beating X. So overall 1/ Z, 2/ X, and 3/ Y. I guess I was not impressed by the noiseless. I will pat myself on the back for liking Z best:) But I can certainly live with the Player neck for cleans. And a super distortion Di Marzio maybe for the bridge:)

    Player series (MiM) guitars are excellent value. I have a Strat, but I have since change the nut, saddles, nut (tusq), tuners (fender locking), pups (bootstrappickups Sun City Selects), Fender pickguard, and I put in an Obsidian Wire 7-way (Gilmour) switch. I like the 7-way, makes the give the Strat a couple other options (one to sound kinda Telecaster'ish), but I would not buy it again. I am interested in a tele with humbuckers. Will either Warmoth it (perhaps with a 24¾ conversion neck) or Player series it (then change the nut to tusq).

    I own 2 fender Stratocaster, an hss Wich I love it's versatility, and a Stratocaster player series ( sss MIM) that has very descent features and sound with alnico 5 single coil pickups. But some says that telecaster single coils are better for cleaner tones.
    A friend of mine has that butterscotch telecaster player series and want to make an exchange with me for the sss.
    Before that I was thinking in change my sss alnico 5 pickups for a vintage noiseless.

      @@landonbailey man, how is that getting used to playing? I learned (am learning really) on an LP and still have issues with the high E and B strings when I grab my daughter's '04 Indonesian Squier strat with the 9.25.

    Playing this on my phone. Really couldn't pick it.
    I have 2 teles and they are different. But I think if you play 3 guitars identical models back to back they will be slightly different.
    My advice is PLAY it before you buy it.

    Nice comparison, well done! I'm interested in Gen 4 Noiseless pickups and this samples are very useful. I'm a tele fan and also have Vox AC series amp :) .
