Watching you two sitting there at the end, sharing the scene and the food reminded me of a walk I did along the Scottish Coast. I came up a hill and there was a a crumbling castle at the edge of the cliff. As I came closer I could hear the lovely sounds of violins playing. I climbed up into what would once have been the main part of the castle and there, sitting on the edge of a very old stone wall was two men enjoying a feast, listening to their music and speaking quietly to each other in Polish. I was smitten with the whole scenes and wished they would invite me to join or I had the courage to just invite myself. I'll never forget the beauty of that moment. Just as I'm inspired by the ones you two are creating.
How cool! I bet you wished you had the courage to join them; and they most likely wished they had invited you...still, you have that ethereal rememberance which will always stay with you.

When u cook on real wood fire coals, food has a totally different flavor it’s another level! I grew up with a wood stove in the house! Even French fries taste better when you fried them on top of wood coals! to grill fish the best is actual dried corn cob lumps!
Corn cobs were used in place of toilet paper in depression era America, just saying.
Going to my grandparents ,wooden stove , slow cooked , and the smell , now an 40 years old , whenever I smell burning wood remind me of my late granny , may she RIP !

Not sure what it is about this series, maybe the fact that there is no talking or way it is so beautifully filmed outdoors, but I find it strangely satisfying and comforting...oh and the food, simple yet looks so delicious.

It actually takes quite a lot of money to be able to cook on land like this...in the US..most of the land is owned, and the other land is Federal land which doesn't allow you to cook like this without penalty

Most of it really is homemade , not necessarily by him . We traditionally put various pickled foods for the winter which was long and cold ( not so much now ) in order to get vitamin C , and curred meats and dairy products also . If you know your way around you go to a village and buy from the farmer for cash , no taxes for him and cheaper and better quality for you

Sliding down the hill is the best intro to any of your videos....and I've seen lots of em. Though I have to admit I do like watching you wash veggies etc. in a stream. Something satisfying about that.
