“The more I read the Greeks, the more I realize that nothing like them has ever appeared in the world since.”
“How can any educated person stay away from the Greeks? I have always been far more interested in them than in science.”

“Never memorize what you can look up in books” is a quote often attributed to Einstein, though what he actually said was somewhat different. He was asked, but did not know the speed of sound as included in the Edison Test. When this was pointed out, he said, “[I do not] carry such information in my mind since it is readily available in books. He also said, “…The value of a college education is not the learning of many facts but the training of the mind to think.”

    1. Train your brain's neuroplasticity, for instance before reading chapters take note of everything you know about that chapter so you can easily link all you know with the new info coming in.
2.Nurture your brain, visualize something and then change those visualizations the way you want to, envision your dreams...
    3. Memorization improves your hippocampus
    4. Increase your strategic downtime, time in mundane tasks help your brain to think passively.
    5. Better management of time
    6. Meditation helps improves attention and focus.

Independent learning is a gamechanger. I'd argue you are more productive on average since you are doing it for yourself, and there's no penalty for being wrong! No assignments, no grades, no pressure... failure is a regular part of the process. Sad institutions need superficial metrics to exist.

just same as bodies , brains depends on Genetics as well , you find some people train all their life and dosen't have a great body , same in brains you find some people study all their life and they don't have a bright mind , and this what makes us diffrent , we need to be diffrent and complimentary with Love.

    1. Conectar novas aprendizagens com aprendizagens previamente adquiridas.

Einsteins wisdom is not from memorizing. It’s from intuition. I think it’s a combination of Talent and training. Why are some just naturally into knowledge? Then you have others who don’t care a dam thing. Not everyone is meant to be Einstein . Gotta find your own path to greatness.

It’s just genetics, the reason why parts of his brain were bigger and some smaller was genetic. These are all great tips and should be utilised for maximum retention and improvement. To put it simply Einstein was “built different” in the same way autistic brains are different to neurological brains.

So looking back on Einstein’s certificate he actually was a pretty bad student. Correct me if I’m wrong, maybe it was different back than but that’s the way it is now.

160 IQ is pretty genius. In fact, according to Wikipedia, IQ score significantly more than 160 are considered dubious. There are no IQ tests in existence, that can reliably measure IQs above 160 and such IQ are not to be taken seriously. With that said, I do agree that even the best modern IQ tests are not very good indication of general intelligence. I think that the way IQ tests are in the moment, allows for what I call 'IQ test savants' - people that are very good at IQ tests, but not so much in anything else. Same as the fellows that can calculate large numbers like a computer, or remember everything as a photograph...
