My opinion: It’s better, but still the depressed version of Sarv is still present in the intro (despite her having a happier emotion during Parish), there is more fluid movement but compared the vanilla BF and GF, this gap is clear and it would be filled with either their remastered version or tall version, either one works. The Gospel version actually looks less intimidating, but this probably due to modified emotions. A pretty nice mod.
Actually, I feel like it's more intimidating... well, intimidating or not, GODDAMN the animation's really good. Love the way her wings flap occasionally, the flapping wasn't in the first sprite.

I like how her body looks more in this but I feel as if her expressions looked nicer in the original at times. It’s a shame this mod has such nice designs and music yet the charting is STILL horrendous.

@Segan NEal You absolutely can criticize something without having to make something yourself. For the record, aligning the sprites is not hard whatsoever. The most difficult part of any of these mods, unless there’s actual coding involved, are the songs and drawings. Songs don’t take that much time to make either depending on the person composing it, so there really isn’t much excuse for the sprites to not be aligned.
I still feel like some features could've been more exaggerated, such as attempting to make sarvente in gospel have more of a sharp edge to give extra personality. the poses could have been different and exaggerated rather than the poses being heavily referenced to the old ones. (Like the ruv remaster changed the poses to exaggerate them to give then more expression)because the art is more referenced, sarv still looks more like shes rapidly changing poses rather than really singing sometimes. (Especially on worship, when the notes go from left and right) other than that, they did a great job with the shading and lineart, making it much more thick and giving it more of the fnf style.

This is the first remaster I've seen that puts the character closer to the FNF artstyle instead of further from it in my opinion. Tord, Ruv, and Zardy's remasters all just don't have that same FNF feel.
Ruv's first remaster was cool though, the Jojo posing really makes him more expressive and look mad like the screen shaking makes more sense with the first remaster than on the original

Sorry but im not a fan of the remaster, shes less expressive and has less style than before and her second song uses the same animations as the first song just with a slight different face when the original she had more attitude in her poses, plus her first cutscene i noticed the final part after she hangs was cut out, I also dont know why she looks miserable instead of happy optimistic it kinda contradicts her dialog. And finally her arrows at the final song are kinda mush looking. Im sure alot if work was out into this remaster but it kinda missed the mark in alot of areas. I do like her new succubus form tho
@Jimmy Barthe Dont get me wrong i did understand why they did it but it doesnt change the fact that it looks rough as a result, the arrows are oversized and distracting and theyre not properly aligned with the crosses, if you ask me the way i would've fixed it is to keep the crosses on top or bottom the same and the music notes that come to be luke the generic ones, that way atleast players can know which buttons to press while keeping the crosses the way they are.
As someone whose first introduction to fnf was actually from mid fight masses, I do love the takes the creator did with it. Though looking through first experience bias was hard, I can see and enjoy the effort at the remastered sprites... and can see the positives and negatives for both sides. I won't go into the charting, It still sucks 'yada yada', I'm not going to reiterate what many have done. Onto the designs... and to go into the little details, as in general I love both of them. I'll mainly focus on the remaster's pros and cons, as this is what the video is about. In terms of integration, it works very nicely. So much of it I love seeing getting a face lift. The designs fit well, and the original poses were mirrored nearly close to the original. They even fixed the idle for sarv, which while could've been a bit different to match the original, I won't knock down problems cause of that. The problems I will address are small, but are enough for me to hope it continues getting worked on. A minor one I have is with Demon Sarv's idle. The original's mouth isn't partially into the dark side of her face, showing a funny, lackidazical smile. However, the remaster had made the mouth bigger, resulting in part of it blending in. It's minor, but I always like the little face, so I had to make note. (And looking at it more, might not be as bad). No, the major one I have with the remaster is the movement. The original.. from watching it enough times, I've seen it is veery sharp with the movement. The 2d artwork, from what I saw, allows the exaggerated posses to strike fast and quick while not seeming too out of place in motion. This, of course, is a weakness with the more integrated sprites. Stiffness. I said previously that they 'nearly' got the sprites mirrored, but even the aftereffects didn't mask it. Ironically, Compared to the orignal, it feels a lot more jankier in motion. But that's just my rant and thoughts. Not disagreeing with anyone, but I'm putting my opinions on the internet. Take it as you will.
To be honest, I like this remaster for how expressive she is😅 However, I still like the old look because it's familiar to me😅 I like where this is going though with everyone getting remasters, a pretty interesting concept. IF Whitty were get a remastered sprite, I would definitely come check it out! Overall, this is a solid remaster👍

Sarvente: THAT WASN'T VERY HOLY OF YOU
This is the first remaster I've seen that puts the character closer to the FNF artstyle instead of further from it in my opinion. Tord, Ruv, and Zardy's remasters all just don't have that same FNF feel.
This isn't a remaster, its just a redraw of the characters
Whitty: Cool the way he is.
Zardy: His remastered is accepted.
Ruv: Cool the way he is.
Sarv: Has to undergo two remasters.
We do NOT talk about *that other one*
Ruv's first remaster was cool though, the Jojo posing really makes him more expressive and look mad like the screen shaking makes more sense with the first remaster than on the original

They put a Remaster on Everything, Ruv, THICC Sarvente, and now this HD version, BUT WHY DON'T FIX THE POOR CHART OF ARROWS, It's so annoying play like that

All the skin mods aren’t made by the same people or the original creators of the sarvente mod.
A chart remastered exists just look up mid fight masses fixed charts . This mod is about the way Sarv looks

The demonic form is a big improvement, it almost adds "dimensions" to make it feel more 3d in the 2d space
Sorry but im not a fan of the remaster, shes less expressive and has less style than before and her second song uses the same animations as the first song just with a slight different face when the original she had more attitude in her poses, plus her first cutscene i noticed the final part after she hangs was cut out, I also dont know why she looks miserable instead of happy optimistic it kinda contradicts her dialog. And finally her arrows at the final song are kinda mush looking. Im sure alot if work was out into this remaster but it kinda missed the mark in alot of areas. I do like her new succubus form tho
The Blue miserable part was actually made by the original creator of the mod though idk why
@Jimmy Barthe Dont get me wrong i did understand why they did it but it doesnt change the fact that it looks rough as a result, the arrows are oversized and distracting and theyre not properly aligned with the crosses, if you ask me the way i would've fixed it is to keep the crosses on top or bottom the same and the music notes that come to be luke the generic ones, that way atleast players can know which buttons to press while keeping the crosses the way they are.

As someone whose first introduction to fnf was actually from mid fight masses, I do love the takes the creator did with it. Though looking through first experience bias was hard, I can see and enjoy the effort at the remastered sprites... and can see the positives and negatives for both sides.
I won't go into the charting, It still sucks 'yada yada', I'm not going to reiterate what many have done.
Onto the designs... and to go into the little details, as in general I love both of them. I'll mainly focus on the remaster's pros and cons, as this is what the video is about.
In terms of integration, it works very nicely. So much of it I love seeing getting a face lift.
The designs fit well, and the original poses were mirrored nearly close to the original. They even fixed the idle for sarv, which while could've been a bit different to match the original, I won't knock down problems cause of that.
The problems I will address are small, but are enough for me to hope it continues getting worked on. A minor one I have is with Demon Sarv's idle.
The original's mouth isn't partially into the dark side of her face, showing a funny, lackidazical smile. However, the remaster had made the mouth bigger, resulting in part of it blending in. It's minor, but I always like the little face, so I had to make note. (And looking at it more, might not be as bad).
No, the major one I have with the remaster is the movement. The original.. from watching it enough times, I've seen it is veery sharp with the movement.
The 2d artwork, from what I saw, allows the exaggerated posses to strike fast and quick while not seeming too out of place in motion.
This, of course, is a weakness with the more integrated sprites. Stiffness. I said previously that they 'nearly' got the sprites mirrored, but even the aftereffects didn't mask it. Ironically, Compared to the orignal, it feels a lot more jankier in motion.
But that's just my rant and thoughts. Not disagreeing with anyone, but I'm putting my opinions on the internet. Take it as you will.
I also love her flapping cape/wings animation in Gospel! 💕

To be honest, I like this remaster for how expressive she is😅 However, I still like the old look because it's familiar to me😅 I like where this is going though with everyone getting remasters, a pretty interesting concept. IF Whitty were get a remastered sprite, I would definitely come check it out! Overall, this is a solid remaster👍
