I purchased my first SBK (shuttle bike kit) waterbike in 1999 and is still in use today. have since purchased two more. A lot of fOLK young and old have had a lot of fun and pleasure out of them and still attracts the attention of cameras whenever I take them out. The following is a short film of one of mine on the Coventry canal th-cam.com/video/9SwqVy3jtV4/w-d-xo.html&feature=share Sadly Mr Roberto Siviero, the inventor of the SBK has passed away. R.I.P
Shuttlebike com is the official website and mail is "sbkkit@alice.it" The floats aren't in PVC, but in very resistant REINFORCED POLYURETHANE with double chambre security Shuttle bike is all Made in Italy and is the first one industrialized product to ride on water - SHUTTLE BIKE TEAM

I had this idea years ago. Glad to see someone with more means brought it to market!
Not sure if they're still available but as an option check out the Akwakat waterbike conversion set - search vids for Akwakat Dolphin Encounter.
Nothing like pedalling in the ferry zones.
SO how's it powered?
It looks like the bike wheel is just spinning in mid air
cool but how are they propelled?
The wheel obviously propels something?
where to buy it and how much does it cost?
where does the thrust come from? i see no propellor
I seen a trike with big inflatable wheels, trying to find it
How long, on average, does it take to set up. And to dis-assemble?
15 minutes.
Does anyone know where I can buy one in Australia ?
It moves painfully slooow...
Well, maybe a modification of the prop will do... nice!
There was no water wheel in sight, what makes it go?
The same way they inflate. They use air. See the hoses. that's it. To be honest not such a good design.
Let me know when you can make these go faster than 2mph
then maybe I'll be interested

Yup, if the Bull sharks don't eat you then you'll drown anyway without wearing a life preserver. So simple to do.

Next time I hear sailors saying they're yielding
to crossing cyclists at the bay.. I'll believe them.
Lol, no im kidding. We did eventually recover the body.
No way would I used one of those on Sydney Harbour, thats asking to be eaten.
Real ones, I mean.
Looks a little top heavy, and they should have life vests on no matter what.
i would hook up a cr250 to it and see how fast you can go MUAHAHAHAHA
would like to see how those works if a tsunami comes :)
OMG you killed B1 and B2 and used them as floatation device.
Okay on flat water with no wind. Otherwise... no thanks, mate!
