    i think your doing well man. to your "entry level" advice for some of us we are at entry level and seeing some of these people that are doing major daily builds gets a bit overwhelming. not sure if i can call out some major Canadian or Australian builders that can pull out a weekly build or faster. theres the regular guy that is just beginning to step into this thing thats fun and enjoyable. i guess in my own situation i flipped one pc (basically just a transplant to a Alienware case) then started the slow build to my personal rig thats kinda been stuck at flip or pull a complete overhaul. i digress but i find you relatable and your proof that its possible to do for regular guys in the hobby. youve come a long way since the first video i watched. keep it up man

    I think your point about building around a single or few parts you already have is really important. Some of the better flips I've done have based around a deal or couple of deals I've managed to obtain as this gives you a base level of added value, and therefore potential profit, before you even start. Looking forward to the rest of the series!

    • @twowheelsusedtech7628
      @twowheelsusedtech7628  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, when I first started all of my projects started from a "base" deal that I built off of. Now I tend to just horde stuff and pull pieces for different builds I want to do at that time.

    Hey! I'm from the Philippines and PC building happens to be a hobby of mine which I pick up every few years due to wanting upgrades. I'm trying to contextualise your content to fit my country and it's been difficult. A question I do have is how do I know if I'm ready to do this? Should I start by learning lower end systems first and work my way up (especially since I got started when rx570 and GTX 1060 were big)? What are some prerequisite knowledge that I might need to know regarding PC parts? My knowledge as far as I'm aware is the midtier pricing range (500 - 800 USD builds). I'm slightly anxious since I'm still a student and putting some of my savings into this would definitely be a big risk for me. Great content though, glad I found your channel!

    • @twowheelsusedtech7628
      @twowheelsusedtech7628  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      My recommendation for anyone who has reservations about starting, is to start with smaller, quicker investments. Things such as flipping singular parts that you get good deals on, or picking up people's older systems, cleaning them up and parting them out. I would first try to prove to yourself that you can do it, then you'll feel more confident and comfortable moving into full systems down the road.

    • @neilagutaya
      @neilagutaya 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@twowheelsusedtech7628 Thank you! That's great advice. I've already started doing those singular flips actually, though like you mention in your series they do come quite rarely, unfortunately. That's why I started taking notice of flipping whole systems. I'll update you in the future! :) By the way, I think you should make a discord server. I'd be interested to interact with a community like yours there!

    What are hidden and un hidden seller fees on ebay. Don’t big electronic stuff (pc)cost a lot to ship and also you have to pay ebay soemthing right and also the box for a pc that big probably costs a lot too right?

    Hi I’ve been watching your videos and it really gave me the idea to try flipping PC’s (I’m 13 and I’ve successfully built 6 PC’s) because I’m 13 I can’t work, this bothers me because as a pc enthousiast and a gamer I can’t really expend what I have and build anything of it. I’ll tell you my progress if you are interested.

    • @enzee8423
      @enzee8423 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      well the problem with buying newer high end cards in your case the 3060ti is they're intended on high end flips ranging in the $1k range. From your price list, majority of the components aren't really killer deals as thats how much they probably go for on the used market. Most flips I do, require some pretty good finds to secure a good amount of profit. no one would pay retail for a used 2600x when 3000 and 5000 series is out, so with that 2600x you got, I'd say unless you're able to find someone to buy it or the rest of your components fairly cheap, then you're looking at what you built it for/ a small amount of profit. Then again, depends on the buyer and the area as well.
