He wrote novels on different eras of Chinese history, which are somewhat connected together. I know there are some adaptations to his novels, such as the Sword of the Yue Maiden, The Condor Heroes, Return of the Condor Heroes, The Heavenly Sword and Dragon Saber, etc. There's also XianXia, which features cultivation (kinda like magic), where gods, devil, demonic beasts, and other races exists, with more exaggerated Kung Fu.
