i would also like to see how you measured to place the block at the end
I followed these steps closely but I was still about a 1/4in out. I went to my local club builder and had him measure my 6 iron, I then adjusted the timber (which I have since replaced with a single dowel like proper rulers have) til it was correct. I also very carefully wrote the measurements directly onto my workbench. I priced a ruler of that length and I have no idea how one can cost less than US$25. Was not paying over $200 for a stainless steel one. Great video on all accounts.
What is the measurements on where to place the iron back stop and where to put the ruller that's where I am confused

I put together something like this for putters. One thing I'd recommend is having at least one club measured by a shop so you have a known good length and can use that club to verify you're set up right.

Thanks for this Can it be flipped over to measure left handed even though the ruler would be on the other side?
So the measurement is through the center of the hosel, and not necessarily along the back edge of the hosel, correct?
How would you set it up for measuring left handed clubs?

Agreed. The essentials are missing on where to place the pivot etc. a second video or a written response is required to make this idea useful.
Where is the second dowel ? Under the pivoting block ? How's does that block attach ? Where does it go. Video needs redone. Sorry.
A good idea but, do you really need to speak to people as though they're four years old?
