Porcupine needles are actually poisonous and can cause welts to slowly let the needles sink in and kill you, so I’m glad he didn’t get that many and pulled them out as quickly as they did
Porcupine quills don’t carry poison. But they do have barbs that dig deeper and deeper. Unless removed (which can be very painful), over time they can cripple or even kill an attacker…

By the way, porcupine quills should have the ends cut off before they are removed.
This takes away all of the pressure and allows the quills to be removed without pain.
To remove them without first cutting off the ends is pure torture.
And he still managed to keep a straight face through it. My respect for Brutus is through the roof. 💯

Porcupines can be tamed, they say, so they will keep their quills down and even be safely petted. But this is obviously at the porcupine's comfort level.
I’m surprised she managed to pull every quill out entirely considering American porcupines have barbs on there quills.
