What an outstanding job and inspiration you are to this fandom Lucas! I definitely would like to see Duck pulling Annie and Clarabel and greeting Terence from The Runaway: that set was great!
Brilliant, we're hooked on your work, incredible details. My grandson is very impressed as he knows what work goes into his short films, which is nothing compared to yours... Cheers James 🙂👍
I have a good question. When filming scenes that involve water (IE trouble for Thomas/Percy takes a plunge/etc) how does one minimize water damage to their engines.
In the past, I've used spare models with their motors removed whenever dealing with water so it doesn't damage the engines. With the recent Trust Thomas remake, I was just very careful to not let him fall in.
I released the actual short and a small snippet from this video, but this is the full behind the scenes look at the yards, as well as bloopers and deleted scenes.
Thank you! I use a variety of tracks, but the main tracks I'm using for the tracks is the new PECO Bullhead range. I don't have the points in this range though, hence the slightly different look between the two of them.
I use a Laowa probe lens. They've released a new second generation that has a periscope variant too which I'd love to get, but my wallet will not agree.
The brake van looked like a pain to do but it was so worth it
It really was a long process but I agree!! I'm really pleased with this one. Thank you :)
Wonderful job as always with the recreation! These behind the scenes look are such a treat as well.
Thank you so much :)
Lets see you pull off Thomas’s accident in Special Letter
That would be a fun one to try - intense too!

Thank you so much!! That's a fun visual idea, I'll make a note of it!

Here's an outlandish one, Henry's crash from Something in the Air
I wonder how you’d pull off doing James’ sticky situation from “Dirty Objects.”
Ooh that's a good one! Thank you for the idea :)
Amazing work on this!
Thank you very much!
@@TheTrainModeller np!
Love the set! Maybe for another scene or crash, why not Gordon Takes A Tumble. ^^
That would be a crazy one to try. I definitely have thought about it though :D
This was amazing! You've done a great job. I'd love to see you do A Close Shave, a classic. Keep up the great work!
Thank you so much! I'll keep that in mind!
Love the video, and for recreation, im thinking The fogman, I think the crash would be neat.
Thank you so much! A great episode, I'll make a note of it!
Ducks crash in a close shave would be fun to make
That's a good idea! I'll keep that in mind.
Try the Gordon takes a tumble crash!
So amazing video
Thank you!
Great work
Thank you!
How about Gordon's crash from "A Better View for Gordon"

Season 1's Dirty objects
Do Percy’s accident in Put upon Percy, but the landslide.
Hey whats that thing attached to the camera lense?
Wasn’t the exciter same uploaded just a few days ago.

I got an idea. A model series take on salty falling in the water in steam team to the rescue.
That's a good idea! Unfortunately, I don't have Salty anymore but maybe that's one if I ever do!
What wood did you use for the brake van again? I couldn’t hear you clearly.
I used balsa wood, apologies for the audio! I'll work on that for the next one :)
Very nice man! quick question what tracks do you use?
Thank you! I use a variety of tracks, but the main tracks I'm using for the tracks is the new PECO Bullhead range. I don't have the points in this range though, hence the slightly different look between the two of them.
What lens do you use for filming? It makes the engines look more lively
I use a Laowa probe lens. They've released a new second generation that has a periscope variant too which I'd love to get, but my wallet will not agree.

It definitely was a long job, but I'm really pleased with how it came out!
