    Just wanted to give you a BIG THANK YOU! We were meeting resistance when feeding the hose through the top of our Grohe Alira Low profile and was not sure how to proceed without breaking the hose. The part of your video when you say to move the hose around to find the opening was priceless! Saved us an expensive plumber bill. Thank again! You are the best!! (submitted by Ed's wife)

    The hansgrohe replacement hose fitted this model perfectly! Thank you so much!

    You rock Mark! Learned quite a bit from your video including identifying the quick release mechanism. Only difference: Instead of the weight we had a slinky-looking metal Spiral tube with two rubber ends that fit over the hose from the sink bottom and provided some tension. Success! Thank you very much Mark!

    Thank you very much for this great video! I don't have any skills in plumbing, but I changed faucet sprayer hose by myself. Excellent step by step instruction.

    Never commented on TH-cam before. Just paid about $500 to have a new pulldown sprayer put in by a plumber. Parts and labor. Great presentation. Sometimes, in the past, speed of presentation and accents have made understanding difficult. I'm not a great handyman so I won't comment further.

    Thanks. the point about leaving the plastic tip and twisting to feed it new hose through saved the day. Thanks.

    Thank you for your video, my faucet leaking problem (under the sink) turned out it's just the spray head got loose.😆

    I have the same faucet but the leak is around the handle. Any idea how to pull the handle apart? There isn’t a screw.

    Thanks for the update. I am thinking of installing an updated model of my old Grohe faucet. Do you like using your Grohe pull down faucet? Any advice on pull down versus pull out? Thanks in advance!

      I think that is a type of Grohe Concetto. It's a bit older and I was renting that place before. So, I am not certain, but it seems closest to the Concetto models. Hope that helps. Good luck.

    I have the same faucet. The spout came out from the sink mixer base. Now the spout won't tighten to the sink mixer ....

      @willhkwong - Sorry. I'm not sure. That was in a townhouse we were renting a few years ago.

    trying to replace my hose....but when I go to pull the hose out....it seems like there is not enough room for it to come thru the housing. ideas? I didn't install this....and it looks like whoever did....didnt give enough room for the hose to be removed.

      I'm having the exact same issue, I've disconnected the water with the quick release and I just cannot pull the hose out through the faucet. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

    • @TRaddcliff
      @TRaddcliff ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey @milfora I contacted the company and told them my issue, and they were awesome. They sent me a braided hose that’s slides thru the faucets pipe smoothly. It took a little time to come, but makes a world of difference.

    Why does every video have that hose going right down in. I can’t get my glacier bay replacement to go in so I can finish the job

  • @cegceg3559
    @cegceg3559 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I believe the weight is supposed to slide on the hose in order to provide you as much as possible to pull out. As you push the hose back in to the fixture the weight will slide back down, assisting the return. Making it unmovable limits the available length.

    • @FirstLastOne
      @FirstLastOne 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, it is supposed to be in a fixed location but the worst location for it to be fixed to is at the bottom or past the bottom and to the side of the loop that goes to the fixed point with the quick release. After about 3 to 4 years, the hose will start to leak inside the weighted area from stress fatigue.

    That was truly a nasty thing to do! Pets should be washed outdoors or in the garage!
