  • After conducting research on various hitch receivers available on the market for our 2023 Toyota Sienna Hybrid AWD minivan, I came across a truly excellent hitch receiver made by Trailer.com. In this video, I'll unbox it, guide you through the installation process, and mount my bike rack on it. I'll also explain why I chose this particular trailer hitch receiver over the others.

great video! this is very affordable at less than $200 but it takes away from ground clearance and it's super ugly with the bar underneath lol. For other options at double the price $400+ drawtite hidden hitch, or the Torklift Ecohitch are awesome..

Yeah other options maybe a little better but installation is 10 times harder tho and requires so much labor

I have a 2021 van and the same hitch. Too problems. While backing up my with bike rack on the camera thinks something is behind me and the warning comes on and stops me stops me this can turned off in the settings. The other problem is hitch is so low it hits the ground at times. You can buy lift kits 2in or 3 .

Hey man, yes and I do share in the video that you should disable backup sensors and yes it is low but I’ve only hit driveway twice. I normally take it easy when pulling in or out

    Hi Paul,
Do you have to disable the Parking Sensors all the time or only after you attacking the bike mount?

Found out you can get a lift kit for the van. You can lift it 2 or 3 inches. And if your handy with tools you can install it yourself.

lol no need for a lift kit for sure. We actually like the height

Did you have any issues with the blind spot monitoring system with the hitch and bike carrier?

Hey man, no it did not affect my blind spot monitoring in any way.

Wouldn't you be hitting the ground a lot? The Sienna is alrwady so low and a lot of trails require you to park near a dirt road. Also, do you think I could install a bike rack for 5 bikes 🤔

Does this hitch scrape when going in steep inclines? How about speed bumps?

I only remember it scraping ones when I was leaving my driveway at high rate of speed but other than that I don’t ever remember it scraping.
