Wow, it's really fantastic project. I love those guages you made from the video, they look so elegant. I wish you were my friend or neighbor so I can borrow the machines from you. 😊👍🥂

I have a similar drill press table as you have in this video, from watching your video I now know why the drill press is not accurate as I would like. All along I thought it was the quill slop, but as I watch I see your table moves down a slight bit as you start drilling. I check mine and it does too, though not as much as yours. I can fix that with an adjustable jack stand. Thank You!
+Tom's Dreamshop Worx thank you very much, there was urgent need to have some precission marking gauges due to some other metal working projects I will post in near future.
Hello Michal....greetings from Peru... I just want to tell you that your work was extraordinary..... would you please explain me a little more how did you cut those drill bits to make and sharp the markers
+antonio999us my greetings to Peru. I just fix the drill bit into the aku-drill and grid it on the belt grinder, it's also cooled down by air. This way you make the center point.
I see the 2x72 belt grinder, Do you plan on making knifes? I think it would be cool, but you can do whatever. Your content is great anyway :) Keep up the awesome work.
Badmin X thats OK, the pencil is also possible, can you send the paypal payment? If yes, than please paypal Eur 65 (shipping inclusive) to kadlk@seznam.cz. Email me also you full contact details, the address and phone number. If paypal not possible, than email me, I will send you bank details. I expected it will be ready for you within 2 weeks. It's suitable to be use also for woodworking projects.
OK if I want to buy a marking gauge I have a choice between an expensive Starrett or a really cheap one by General. Or a nice one from Japan in mm. Someone should make ones with a wider base of 2 or 3 inches for 30 or 40 bucks..
+Paul Murray yes, cool idea. Its not very easy to make precission lathe wihout lathe. I can build some lathe toy with my current equipement. Anyway thank you for idea and your comment. I will focus on some old stuff I colected in next episodes.
I would love to have one of those. Nothing beats a piece of equipment or tool that is home made. Thanks for a great video.
just found your channel as I was doing research for an up coming build project. love your work, subscribed and will be binge watching you for awhile!
Hi Tom, thank you very much for your nice comment.

What is the name of your circular drill press clamp? Where can I get one?
Amazon has the cheapest ones I've found at about $88. Its called a 3-Jaw Self-Centering Chuck.

Your drill press bed has a lot of play so your drilling might be slightly off. Nice vid!
+Alexander N you are right, the drill press construction is weak. Thanks for the comment.
100% Она имеет значительный люфт. Это влияет на точность работы.
complimenti bel lavoro

Michal paráda. Malý tip (jestli múžu)- místo stopek vrtákú nastřelovací hřebíky do betonu
+Vladko Sitko dobry tip, dekuji!
