The Judges frustration and disbelief by the news of the guy getting another PR bond, I feel the same way. Our country has been pampering criminals and it's only getting worse.
So so true. As a taxpayer, I’m fine with my tax dollars going to more jails and diversion, instead of giving illegal immigrants free hotel rooms and a cash stipend.
Everyone is angry about people getting out on PR Bonds, but here's the reality. Local courts (run by counties) don't have the money to hold people in jail indefinitely unless it's for crimes where the expected conviction will be 20 years to life. It costs way too much. Unless residents are ok with more taxes or more taxes on their real estate, the jails have to let low level criminals free (even when there is a risk to the public). You could always increase the penalties.

The fact that he's trying to not get tested says way more than he intends. And 30-hours a week is part-time. That's the commitment for a high school student while still in school. Not a grown-assed adult with a kid and one on the way.

Most just go through their day and do their job, judge Fleischer actually cares about these people’s situations, their futures, what these convictions do to a persons future, he realizes they are human and make mistakes and he genuinely wants better for all of them.
