Thank you for the video. I watched your Powertac M5 G2 video first, and I was wondering how this flashlight would effect a compass? I would assume it might, but just wanted to know your feedback. BTW, I too own the M5, and I am very happy with this purchase. I would also love to know your "durability" use with that light so far?
At best, the effect would be minimal and only if you put the metal of the flashlight right next to the compass. In fact, I just tried it using an orienteering compass and a PT Warrior G4 FL (which is a larger light). In order to affect the reading, I had to move the light right on top of the compass. A few inches away .... no problem. Thanks for the inquiry.
