I bought a P90 a couple of months ago. It was my dream gun. I knew the ammo was expensive going into it. But I love it. So easy to take apart and clean too .
In case you didn't know, the spring on the 30rd mag is the same as the spring on the 50. The only difference is the stopper. You can disassemble the 30 rd mag, remove the stopper, file down 1 piece, and it will be a 50 rd mag when you reassemble. Also, the barrel is threaded. The p90 has a floating barrel. The part you mentioned is a barrel shroud that covers the entire barrel. It's pinned in by the ported section. You can counter drill on the opposite side to expose the pin and remove the shroud. (Necessary for sbr conversion)
As much as I would love to chop 6 in off of my barrel, I refuse to give the ATF my money, ask for its permission, wait months and months and months, be restricted on leaving my state lines with it, being restricted to sell it, and giving that much of my personal information to the government as far as registering it....

Does the bullet jam? Is it less recoil than Kriss Vector Gen II?
No the jam was completely my fault on how I chambered with the mag not being seated. Way less recoil!
Gun doesn’t jam. I have a PS90 too and it’s a dream gun to have and shoot. Shoots fast and rarely ever jams.
