We made foil pipes in the 60's. We made pipes out of practically anything, a Bic pen, the cardboard tube off of a wire coat hanger, but the best of all was the "Big Ben" Party Bong. It took an oz. to fill the bowl & after we got it going, we capped it. We hooked up an aquarium pump that gave us a constant flow of the "air". There was one hose only, a long one & we attached a part of a pool cue. That way, one guy(the leader) handled it. We sat in a circle & the leader could put the exhaust hose in front of everyone in the circle & all you had to do was to INHALE when it was your turn. The object was for, usually 6 to 10 people, in the circle to keep it going until the oz. was gone! That was Spicoli high !!

Aye. First I've been smoking for 9 years and have done almost every diy on yt. You are the first one to make it this simple. You're a gentleman and a Scholar.
Roll the foil around your finger first. Make the bend for the bowl. Put a pen down the stem and then kind of twist the foil around it. The resulting "wrinkles" in the foil after tightening it add structural integrity.
Good stuff, use this all the time. All you need is a pen and some foil. Of course its nicer if you have a pipe screen as well. Cut it down to size with scissors to fit a small pipe.
But u can put a double round small piece of foil inside and use a pin or needle and make your own screen too. I do this to pens when im being lazy and dont want to buy dutchies lol
I built this. BUT, I added one thing to it. A bowl. I took a small piece of foil and made it into a bowl. Then I put it at the end of the pipe. Built it so I can add whatever I want. Green or brown.

This January I saw a bunch of videos on different ways to smoke. I had the stuff but was stuck in a situation, a new city where there was no paper around and no time to leave the house. I did the gravity bong, banana bong, joint made out of paper napkins, this aluminium pipe(worst of all cuz the aluminium smoke goes into the lungs) and finally found my most fav. A joint made out of an Orange - least effort and time required, excellently smoked.
I remember my dad making these then I learned to make them for him😁😂😂kinda took me back to a great time with my dad... And no I didn't use it at that age just enjoyed helping dad.
One thing I did differently is only use the pen to do a most of the pipes shape of stem without going all the way to the end. That leaves a small portion of the end to shape into a bigger bowl than in this. Shape bowl size to desired size.
