Good tips. I've had some of my best luck in situations that demanded a lot of being quiet and staying still. I think I recall you saying in another video that 500-600 yards should be a chip shot. I'd be interested to see a podcast talking about how to develop the ability to shoot accurately at longer ranges. Not looking for a magic bullet, but curious to hear your take on the subject. As I understand it, the process is 1) Have good enough gun/ammo, 2) learn and practice the fundamentals (positioning, breathing, squeezing, follow-through), and 3) shoot lots and lots and be persistent
I would have added the fact that sometimes "less is more" when it comes to calling. In predator and duck hunting the new guys just can't put the calls down.
Holy hell! We would get in so much trouble from my Dad for slamming the door. Consequently, I don’t do it anymore. I tell everyone I hunt with, as soon as you loose respect for a coyote’s natural abilities, you’ll never kill another. You don’t have to like them, but you better dang sure respect them.
U know how many stands I've made where I was noisy as hell and those were some of my best stands? Coyotes live close to humans so they're used to human noises? So the first one doesn't make any sense at all
Please address spoomer the boomers new video where he’s trying various shooting techniques suggested by his viewers. I think we could benefit greatly from Wade sitting on a bench and doing a video in the same format as Ron did
