When Kelly did it better than Han Solo… cause a parsec is a measure of distance (used correctly by Kelly), not a length of time (as used by Han Solo). Double Geek cred
No, Han Solo is referring to distance as well. He was not referring directly to his ship's speed when he made this claim. Instead, he was referring to the shorter route he was able to travel by skirting the nearby Maw black hole cluster, thus making the run in under the standard distance.
I am in awe over the world building at this point. The naming conventions of the characters and the places and their locations on the map are all so amazing and feel like they all fit perfectly in the setting.

I see a whole campaign with Rudi´s grandchildren. Something like "The adventures of the Whittaker Bladesingers " Maybe one of them wilding Wilhelm's incredible thin elven sword.
The grandbabies should be allowed to live at home, honoring Rudi's service to the Academy. Wrath should teach them at the observatory, which would mean they're still Academy members.

Such perfect and hilarious insensitivity from Wrath and what a good set up from Monty. You've talked about the Academy being entitled to mageborn children, but I hadn't thought through what that really meant for families.
You guys stand a chance of displacing Strahd as a first campaign for a new group. The world will be better for it. Strahd is fine, but it's a conversion from past editions, and sometimes it shows. At the very least, you should see your book appear on the short list of options for any new DM (as rated by other sites).
@@DungeonDudes i’ve tried some thing that is pretty fun as well it’s a monk barbarian and fighter multi class and I get each of them high enough so then they get their extra Attack and all that and then I just never stop hitting things after that it’s hilarious.
@@thevisual5426 I’m talking about the ability’s like action surge and rage. Not the other things you are mentioned. But I get what you are saying if it could do what you are saying that would be OP. But my DM might have given me the ability to do that as a home brew thing
I was thinking it would be an awesome idea for a stretch goal to have notes about some optional rules for if the dm or players want to try to ally with the monster factions and what directions it could go in as if they were one of the other factions. When I was listening to the first season I kept expecting or maybe just really hoping the characters would try to reform the ratlings or fish folk to ally with the hooded lanterns or another faction. Maybe knowing how monstrous they are it wouldn't be a full on alliance but maybe they could have reached certain agreement such as no eating humanoids and maybe work on how they could get along even more. I'm thinking from the first season the main monsters such as the ratlings, fishfolk, minotaur and gnolls unless I'm missing any.
I was wandering all the time how things was back at tier haven, if I remember correctly they left a branch of crocodile serpentine flying creatures there
You know I never really made the connection when they were introduced but Rudy is the wolf from little red riding hood, and Wilhelm’s last name is wolf’s banes. Hahaha
The walking dart. You pick up this ring or star that will not flip or rotate. On a closer inspection or in proper light you find written on one side THE walking dart and the other side the verbal components for prestidigitation.Although for all other purposes it acts like a small pocket item it simply will not flip pointing north and south or east and west... Attuning to this weapon uses your spell modifier it can only attack in two directions it does 1 D4 per your modifier + 1D4 for armor class overage.
Wrath is the proof you can be the funniest character without making obnoxious voices or cracking jokes at every option. His mannerisms and quirkyness is already too good LOL
Jill was a lot more chill than I would have been. I would have killed the mages and captured River. And changed the campaign direction to the destruction of the academy or a change in the law. There would have been blood.
This is very understandable. The other option though is increased danger and likely death. The whole process was put into place to keep mage born from being killed.
Can't wait for the book to come to kickstarter, got the day marked on my phone planer. I'm really interested in reading the Source material in the book! I wonder if we will get to see the old crew Sebastian vao and Pluto in the coming episodes. In my mind Wilhelm would chat up Pluto and wrath with sebastian and well vao with Rudy.
I really enjoy the role playing you all do. it is amazing. Don't tell anyone I said that. I have been known to be very harsh to other role players. I need to keep my badass image!
I don't know if those questions will be seen as been ask or will be answerd but will it have sub classes or feats in the book and what happen to the artifacts hidden in drakkenheim will they be present in the book.
I made a horrible mistake and listened to wrath tell Rudy her grandkids were going to the academy while driving. I laughed so hard I could barely stay on the road
There is a larger problem brewing... If delirium causes children to born with magic, then the magic consentration grows. And that leads to growing more delirium. So when they expect that delirium growth would consume world in decades, it is now much shortened time period. All children with magic could enhance delirium growth exponentially. Even tiny villages would have tens of mages and soon much potential delirium users and growers. This will also unbalance the world at extreme rates. Places that were simple and had slow life, would become magical centres with much magical power that were not there before. There would be no non-magical persons. And therefore those guilds and ideologies would collapse and become extinct. Also while some magical guilds gains power others loses it and in the turmoil there would be wars to see the new power structure. Even at current levels this is already happening. Most likely even if the delirium problem is somehow corrected. Wilhelm and his like will become a rare and merely a weird old relic. At this point it becomes pretty clear that only destroying the delirium is not really an option. It is spreading too fast. Silver order is too late to contain this situation. And what's for Rudi's kinds, the silver order has way too many magical childs to handle, because they are everywhere. Silver order has to kill all, if they even try to approach the situation from that route. Yet still there might be a solution where all delirium is located and send out from Earth, but that needs magical means... Also, was delirium overgrowth the reason why Elf's left their former plane? Interesting.
Nice but waterwalking doesn’t give 100% traction though ;) That horse would need a few buddies and/or some watershoe (like snowshoes but closed) training!!!
There is a thing i would like to see. If un the future you are going to run together a third season of drakkenheim, i would like to see characters that have more ideas related to those of the silver order or the sacred fire and not that much of Academy things. Just a hope and throwing the idea. This campaign is awesome and i enjoy every second of it
Something I think I've wondered for a while, since season 1, what does it mean class wise for someone to be mageborn? Like does that translate to Sorcerers, and Wizards are the ones who may or may not be mageborn and just learned to control magic through intense study?
Generally for Monty, in control of NPCs, all mage-born manifest their magic naturally, then study under the academy. Those that take to their study and stay with the academy become wizards, those that don't complete their training (like Sebastian) or go rogue, or become special operatives/contractors end up sorcerer's.

1:27 i hit "k" to admire the cover at will...........sooooooo niiiiiice .....gg Dungeon Dudes , that's a gorgeous book..;=)
You guys stand a chance of displacing Strahd as a first campaign for a new group. The world will be better for it. Strahd is fine, but it's a conversion from past editions, and sometimes it shows. At the very least, you should see your book appear on the short list of options for any new DM (as rated by other sites).
Umma shows magic talent, Kelly's mind: and there is my bladesinger for next campaign.
I'm at the part where they are talking about the family being taken away. What if they ask for tierhaven to become a new University grounds
1:49:40 and on watching Kelly try to maintain composure was fun as all hell
They return.YesYesYes. @ Dungeon dudes I got a question for you if you could make the weirdest multi class possible what would you pick and why
Always wanted to try a bardbarian. Not optimal, but so fun.
@@DungeonDudes i’ve tried some thing that is pretty fun as well it’s a monk barbarian and fighter multi class and I get each of them high enough so then they get their extra Attack and all that and then I just never stop hitting things after that it’s hilarious.
@@Lord_lost13 You realize extra attack doesn't stack, right..?
@@thevisual5426 I’m talking about the ability’s like action surge and rage. Not the other things you are mentioned. But I get what you are saying if it could do what you are saying that would be OP. But my DM might have given me the ability to do that as a home brew thing
@@DungeonDudes I've done this and it was super fun! Took just enough levels of bard for expertise in Athletics and made an amazing grappler
No one:
Wrath: It's the law!!
I weep for the Whittaker family. Such powerful roleplay!
wait wait wait Corbin saw delirium in the forest and you dont give him a checkup? You dont go into the woods to retrieve it? omg that bodes terribly
I was wandering all the time how things was back at tier haven, if I remember correctly they left a branch of crocodile serpentine flying creatures there
Story time with Wrath! Get ready to be scarred for life, kids!
I'm so confused... You guys made the THE GREAT BAGEL RUN IN 12 PARSECTS!! wow so cool
How can I find the backdrop that Jill uses during the stream?
When rudi asked Wrath to "show the kids a trick" i fully expected him to whip out hunger of hadar.
Rudi family drama... I'm here for it! Academy here for the kids!
38:00 Waiting for Monty to ask “do you have a shellfish allergy? 😂
ACHTUNGWALD always gets me as a german.
Also happy about canada using metric system.
"I probably shouldn't have lead with it's the law..." 🤣🤣
I have to say, switching from watching Pluto to watching Wrath kinda freaks me out.
Omg, this cover! I can't sale with the virtual version! Anyone know how much for a shipment to Brasil?
Not sure 🤷🏼♂️ looking for a 🇬🇧 delivery here.
I've already decided I'm getting book itself lol
Wrath is the proof you can be the funniest character without making obnoxious voices or cracking jokes at every option. His mannerisms and quirkyness is already too good LOL
Jill was a lot more chill than I would have been. I would have killed the mages and captured River. And changed the campaign direction to the destruction of the academy or a change in the law. There would have been blood.
This is very understandable. The other option though is increased danger and likely death. The whole process was put into place to keep mage born from being killed.
As otherworldly as Bruce may be, he understands kids and petting
Dungeons of Drakkenheim will be fun, and I'll doubtless run it.
But I'm waiting for the supplement with Shadows of Drakkenheim in it.
River: Do you have any metal in your bodies?
Wilhelm: I don't think so.
Me: [cringe]
I freaking LOVED that no one remembered the gold tooth. 😂
Sounds like a werewolf vs mage war is a brewing...
Surprised & definitely disappointed we didn't see a Rudy in Mama bear/wolf bear mode vs the amethyst academy!
1:52:30 My stomach has been in a know for an hour. Great story
And that took an Immediate dive...
Love the cover art!
Great ending, especially with reveal of the teleportation circle in the Emberwood village! I was laughing a lot
Been waiting for this!
I like to think that when Wrath sent his finger he sent the middle one
Sebastian has relationships with a Cat, another cat, a Mouse and a dog. Wrath seems tame by comparison x)
Don't forget the crow!
love these episodes
ITS THE LAW lmao
202:40 Wilhelm, you couldn't have said it better if it were scripted xD I love you guys so much
I really enjoy the role playing you all do. it is amazing.
Amazing episode i hope rudi realizes that she can send her family to a continent that the academy doesn't have power in.
So ready for the Kickstarter.
I am reading a book about the 3-Years War right now.
..... ironic, perhaps?
:o
Ring of waterwalking +speak with animals = horse drawn ship.
Nice but waterwalking doesn’t give 100% traction though ;)
That horse would need a few buddies and/or some watershoe (like snowshoes but closed) training!!!
Academy can be wizards bards sorcerers warlocks or artificers all of which are mageborn@@ashleyhoughton8592
I turned off my light and clicked this video before it got dark lol
