I also love teaching math because I hated it in school! I think having that understanding of math anxiety and not feeling “good” at math allows you to have a different perspective on how to make it engaging and attainable for the kids!
I loved this style of video! I can relate to a lot of your responses going into my first year. One subject that I discovered I liked teaching during my student teaching was science! Similarly to your reasoning, I struggled with science my whole life so it was easier to relate and break down the topics.

During your first year it is so hard to “put yourself first” but it is very important to do so in order to stay healthy both physically and mentally✨💓
