04:40 I would like to add that this performance had a deeper meaning behind it, not just for fanservice. Although I can't remember it right now (I have a bad memory), sorry.
But after Internet War, there was (sadly) of course a lot of hate and "criticism" (homophobes). So Jonghun used a picture from this performance with him and Taemin in handcuff as his profile picture for a long time.
Jonghun and Key was/is also openly supporters of the LGBTQ community, and although Taemin, Minho, and Onew is not as openly talking about it(from what I have seen) as Key and Jonghun(which is okay), it's pretty clear they have no problems with it and do support it lol
Edit: Also The Gay Times Readers' Awards cited James Dean as the greatest male gay icon of all time lol
I would understand Taemin not wanting to voice his thoughts one way or another, it seems like he took the most heat at least from what i can see in interviews
cocktail can be interpreted in many ways lmao but i like to think its about doing the sexy times with a man, probably because of the lyrics "whats in my hand is not a glass" and "i wanna take you slowly" so yeah... jonghyun lyrics are wild

thank you so much for reacting to my video! i'm so upset i'm only seeing this four months later but better late than never! the actor that kissed Minho was Son Hyun-joo by the way! as for James Dean, i think he was mainly a gay icon back during the height of his popularity, but nowadays he's not very well known lol. i got all this information from wikipedia though so it's possible it wasn't super accurate.

The song about not having a glass in his hand is Cocktail which Jjong originally wrote for Taemin but ended up being on his own album. It’s very good but the live will wreck you. 😅 And still can’t believe he wrote Playboy, looked at EXO & thought “yep y’all gonna sing this one”.
While some aspect of it might be fanservice, but the moments where they are less "on stage", more just being themselves it's even sweeter the way they interact with each other and THE SHIT SHINee says. You will find out that they surprisingly have no filter whatsover
it's funny to see how international fans perceive things so differently from Korean fans lol. The Korean gay community does assume Key is gay (or bi) (they have a very short list of idols they know are gay due to rumours and behaviours) and Key is pretty well-known there. But other than Key, they assume everyone else to be sraight (koreans have a lot more access to rumours in the kpop industry). Koreans know about the trainings the idols get from their company for fanservice and so far, all the old idols who were so touchy on stage (even going as far as kissing on stage) all got married with kids or have girlfriends so most korean fans don't think too much about things like this. But of course, for international fans, it probably is difficult to understand.

11:15 It's Minho with Super Junior's Kyuhun, and TVXQ's Changmin in SMTOWN Concert. When performing that song in another country they had Taemin in dress, heels, and long blonde wig replacing Minho as the love interest.
Also, Minho, Kyuhyun, Changmin, & Exo's Suho are in a famous friend grup named Kyu-Line (from Kyuhyun's name). In SMTOWN Concert 2015, they performed as 4-member girl group covering Girl's Day's song Something in a stadium, in fancy high slit red dress, heels, full make up, and wig. They knew they're so pretty they kept taking many selfies and pictures with other SM artists backstage. The performance is so iconic. I still can't get over how beautiful Changmin was 😢💙💙💙

Shinee are also GREAT singers. Like, really. Trust me on that. I know you know Shinee, but I really want you to check out their live singing voice. They covered IU's (a very famous singer in korea) Dear Name in her show, and they sound amazing. Not to mention that the song itself is amazing as well
