I'm revising driving theory right now and this helped, thanks!
Glad to here the video is helpful :)
I have one question about car insurance but I would like you to understand my point of understanding insurance
The insurance is form of safety for urself and others on the road and so for that, the person driving the vehicle has to pay insurance premium of lets say £2000 a year.
This driver of the vehicle gave the money to the insurance company in return this company will cover all the cost depending on the accident and terms and conditions of the policy
The question is if the driver does not have any accident, neither his car gets stolen or burned, nothing happens in the whole year, is the driver not entitled to at least 80% of the £2000
Fair enough they will take fee for administration etc. But should they not give money back instead of giving NCB which does not recompensate as much as it should.
Hiya! Thanks for getting in touch with your question. Insurance can be quite complicated, but the main thing to consider would be that when you take out an annual premium you are paying for a service regardless of whether anything happens. So even if you never drive your car out of your garage, you wouldn't be entitled to any money back at the end of the year. Often you're being insured for amounts that far exceed your premium cost - say you're insured for damages up to £10,000, but you've only paid £2,000 for the policy. This is because your £2,000 is pooled into a much larger pot with everyone else's premium fees. If everyone got their money back after a year there wouldn't be any funds to cover anyone if they did have to make a claim. I hope that helps to clear up your query ☺️
No - car insurance means everyone pays in ‘equitable’ premiums into a big pot to cover losses of the few that are unfortunate enough to have claims. Think of it the other way. If a car insurance policy did cost £2000 as in your example, and that person went on to cause serious bodily injury to someone costing hundreds of thousand of pounds. What happens then? That premium of £2000 isn’t going to cover it.
Excellent job by the presenter!
I have full windshield coverage, what if I claim insurance for a windshield replacement, then 3 weeks later a big rock hits it and I need to replace it again, can I just claim it again to get it replaced or do I have to wait a certain time?
This will largely depend on your car insurance and windshield coverage provider. You best bet is to get in contact with them and they will be able to answer your question. Hope that helps 😊
if i have 3rd party and some one bumps into me dose this get my car fixed ?
Hi there, this would be something to check with your car insurance provider as, typically, 3rd party cover doesn't protect your own car against any type of damage. You can find out more info here - www.finder.com/uk/car-insurance

Business insurance means I can work in as delivery and food fast delivery?
Yes, if you use your vehicle for business purposes, you would need to have insurance that covered you for business use.
@@FinderUK thanks coz I was thinking if I do business insurance it's cheaper to pay othet service providers so I can use for any business like fast food delivery etc ? 👍Thanks 🙏
If you have less litres like 1.4L would insurance be cheaper compared to 1.8L
The make and model of your car (including the size of the engine) typically will affect your insurance premium. To find out more specifics, your best bet would be to contact the insurance provider directly.
Why am I waiting after six months still not paid for total car damage?
Sorry to hear that. We suggest getting in touch with your car insurance provider directly if you have any questions about a claim. Hope that helps 😊
Thanks. Really clear and helpful :)
