Omg. Thank you so much. 40 years I have been trying and failing at French braids and now, you, you marvellous human, you come and crack the code! 🎉❤
Omg I finally found one that actually works I’ve been looking for some and I could never do it now I can actually do them thanks
You are to braiding what Bob Ross is to painting! Thank you for the gentle instruction. At 25 years old I just did a French braid in my own hair for the first time in my life after probably 100s of failed attempts w other tutorials. THANK YOU!!!
Who else is watching because there sibling does not want to do it
Lexie The Wolf only child :(
Lexie The Wolf tell me about it!
Haha omg yes😂😂😂
Wellll i dont want my sis to do it because she pulls my hair
Sevki Aribas lol
By no means was the first time perfect, but mine came out really well. I have been trying to learn how to braid for YEARS and you are the first one to say “don’t look, just feel”. This is the only way this worked for me. Thank you!
Yes!!:)
Thank you!!!! I have watched so many unhelpful videos! It's a normal braid but you just grab some sides as you go along, how simple. And yes, don't look in the mirror, you got this! Very well explained!
Great tutorial your the only one I've seen about holding hands one side not over the head. I still seem to get confused what strands what when I keep adding hair. But won't give up
Thank you, you've made it easier to understand. My 12 yr old daughter has been bugging me to french braid her hair and other tutorials were confusing. :)
Finally I can make a French braid. It was so simple! Thank u so much
thank you so much for this!! i've wanted to do french braids for YEARS but could never figure it out! this really helped me and while my braids aren't perfect yet, i still managed to finally do them!
Wow I actually have accomplished a Braid after watching this tutorial. I always struggled to add hair before I brought the strand into the middle but its so much easier to bring it to the middle and then add some!!!
I had been screwing up French braiding my wife’s hair for the longest time and it would take me at least 30-45 minutes to do it. The tips you shared taught me to do it in about 10 minutes and it looks WAY better! Thank you!
This was so helpful and I am so happy after what felt like millions of hours scrolling TH-cam I finally found a video that actually helps and makes my French braiding experience so much better😄😄
Yasssssss I did thank you so much I did it finally after watching 15 tutorials yours helped me and taught me lots of tips thank you so so so much I’m subscribed
Thank you so much...your video was the best ever...simple and easy..."not looking at yourself in the mirror" and "hand placement" sis i literally danced around my room now that I know how to braid my hair...and "adding hair to the side😮so so simple and best ever tutorial....thank you so much❤❤❤
Omg this tutorial helped a lot! I’ve watched hundreds of videos and I could never get the trick of it till now! Thanks so much!!!!!!!!!

I have 4 daughters. I have NEVER BEEN ABLE TO BRAID their hair. Watching you’re tutorial this morning I was able to braid 3 of them! The 4th is a baby lol. Thank you soooo much for the explanation & easy tutorial 😌
I tried it and got it first time! It's not perfect but I actually did it, I've watched several other videos and the way you explained it was so much better! Ty 😃
So glad it helped!:)
The tutorial that made me finally learn how to do this, after watching tons of other videos. This was on my bucket list. Thank you so much!
Yay!:)
Thanks for explaining this hairstyle. I was thinking that this may be too hard but u have explained it in such a nicely way that I understood in 1 time only.
Thanks 😊😊😊😊

After watching tons of videos and crying this video is the best 😭😭,i finally did it
Yay I’m so glad!
Struggles!!! Hard if you have some curles!!! Ahhhhh. Thank you this is amazing
I've seen so many videos on how to do this, and this is the video that made it click for me. I don't know why you saying it's just doing a normal braid but adding hair is what did it for me. I got so confused with people getting into the specifics "cross this hair to the middle, blah blah" also I overthought it a lot. I constantly thought to myself "this doesn't look right" or that the hair was too messy but I thought "just keep going" and it turns out that I was starting it off correctly the entire time haha. Took me no time to figure it out and now I'm doing it in a minute on both sides.
Yay!:):)
God thankyou so much I was like trying to do this for an hour straight and you made it so easy like I'm literally so happy❤️ lots of love❤️
This finally helped me learn how to French braid thank you so much you did a great job!
I will try this I have no clue to French braid, your video seems easy
Thanks sooo much I’ve been trying to learn this for years! I finally understand!
Screw the videos with 5 million views! This is the ONLY one to help me. I'm sitting here in quarantine like a little girl screaming over and over again *I DID IT! I DID IT!! I DID ITT!!!*

Yay so happy u got it finally:)
This was so helpful, first time actually doing these on myself thank you!!
I’ve been trying to learn how to do this forever and I finally did it (doesn’t look amazing but good enough) and I was so so happy thank you so very much for this great great tutorial!
Thank u for the only explanation that my brain understands

Really easy... ❤️
I am from India .❣️❤️
Thank u I’ve been trying to figure out how to do this for years and this was actually super helpful I’m still a little confused like what do u do when u run out of hair to grab do you just continue the braid ? Or at the top do u pull your hair back or just hold it at your head ?
my brain gets this but my fingers are like “nope”
Great video
I caaaaaaaan’t do it!🤦🏻♀️😭😭😭
Me either!! 😭😭😭
same
I gave up already
This is very good
I did it!!! Though there are few mistakess.
Beautiful😍
I seed a lot of videos of this like🙄.
But i see this and i tried yes finnally i do that i seing this video thanks
I really want to learn to braid my daughter hair it's hard
The hardest part for me is like idk how to braid with 4 strange and more like ahhh
I meant strand instead of strange
THANKKK UUU SOOO MUCHH!!!!
Thank you!
i think the reason i’m confused is because i always thought you put the hair under the middle not over
Reese Van Wagoner under is an inside out braid also known as a Dutch braid. Going over is the French braid....both ways get you a braid tho lol
Thank you so much❤❤
Thank you 🥰😍
POV:me just doing this in a zoom meeting
Who else can’t find a video that will teach you
pretty
Omg omg omg omg omg i literally did it in first attempt. Iswear omg omg.XDDDDD
Nah cuz I even confuse myself tryna do a basic braid 😭
Wait this video was actually so helpful tysm
The hardest part is just trying to figure out how to hold your damn hair without everything turning into a pretzel 😖
bruv ikr i honestly just gave up on the shit i cant w it anymore
And when your trying for more than 3 minutes your arms starts to ache and die
Lmao
Ikrrrr

Ugh this is so hard for people with frizzy hair lol.
Ok i have the same promblem just shampoo and co dition ur hair then take it out with water now that ur hair is wet just start braiding
Me too frizzy
PREACH
same...🥺🥺 I have thick frizzy curly hair 😩😩😩😩😩 and it’s so hard to braid or do anything innnnnnn :(
You should apply oil and then do this hair style
who else quit 2 seconds after they started

Because you idiot. You don't know english that's the only reason
me after the video: Bruh that's easy let's do it
*regrets my whole life decisions

This video was very helpful! I was getting ready to give up but I found some hope with this. I'm finally starting to get a little better. One thing I want to suggest to beginners (like me): start messy! I tried being a little more sloppier and it let me focus more on the technique itself and not how neat and pretty it looked. Now, once I get used to how to hold my hair and grab sections, I can start focusing on being neat and precise. Just a thought.
So glad it helped!:)
Drakes Nest how do you move it towards the middle of your head because when i do it it ends up on my ear. Do i have to do it tighter
You can keep it right on or head but kind of drag and guide it which direction you want it to go
@@DrakesNest I had the same doubt ! Thank you for clearing it
Okay sis you speak facts and motivated me! I’m so happy for this comment 💖💖💖
Ive tried so many times it never works
I’m sorry I know it can be frustrating not getting it:/
Me too
@@jocelynflores9977 hey my mom said that when i showed her my first ever french braid

No i tried it for the first time but it worked
Well heck now I’m crying and ripping out my hair!!!
Emma Giordano sorry:/ I know how frustrating it is when your not getting it. Keep trying:)
This is my favorite and most relatable comment so far 😂
Who else thought they were doing it but they looked in the mirror and it was a knot so you started crying! Hehehe me 😭😭😭
Alrighty as someone who can barely even do simple braids I should probably pass on this one or else I’ll be bald from ripping my hair out in anger 😭
Ya, me too 😭🤣
*guys seriously dont look the the mirror that the only way i learned this* the mirror will distort your perspective and you'll just keep getting frustrated and give up.
YES! That's what cracked it for me!
Thanks for the tip
Maybe that is why I keep messing up
i think the key phrase is "keep adding to the side strands". 3:20 after i heard that, i could do it. Thanks a lot!!
This is the only fee she braid tutorial that actually made sense to me😂
Glad I could help:)
What does fee she mean?
@@meee7943 french
I’m not good at doing hair stuff can you just do my hair lol 😂
Every time I try this the braid never shows up on my head.... no matter how hard I try it doesn’t work. After watching many videos and trying countless times I’m giving up at this point.
Sorry I know it’s frustrating when you can’t get it. Maybe if you have a friend in person or hairdresser to ask?
Maybe try to hold it at an angle more towards the back of your head, pretend to point at the nape of your neck. Practice adding different amounts. Let it be messy and not perfect until you feel better with the technique.
skyryder1208 caollor great advice!
Don't give up it just takes practice I tried 246 times but in the end it worked so don't give up , I believe in u
skyryder1208 caollor going to keep this tip in mind !!
I’ve watched SO many tutorials and could never get it but yours was so helpful and I actually ended with braids! Thank you!!!
So happy it worked:)
Yeah exactly
Did it actually?

I have tried to many times only to find my self failing I have giving up at this point
Dont give up! It does take a lot of crying, trying, swearing and many other hateful feelings, but just remember manyyy people probably tried soooo hard to get this. I mean, I have frizzy hair and it’s SO tangled, but my mind says hey don’t be a quitter! And I try again and yeah it’s okay to take breaks! You got this!!! 💜
Who got so frustrated they tried it on a dolls hair
Hey that could work lol 😂 just keep practicing :)
Lol me
The hand placement made such a difference! Thank you so much 🙌
Oh yay!:)
EXACTLY I never got it right because of it
Who else’s hair is so dark they can’t see it
It does make it harder to see, but keep trying!:)
I am a 13 year old boy who has been growing hair since last 4 years. My mom is a trained hair stylist and makes me these hairstyles. I absolutely love feminine hairstyles being a boy and I sometimes wear them to school. I am trying many new hairstyles and taking more care of my hair in quarantine.

I feel like I finally get the concept, but I think I’m still holding the hair wrong. I can’t figure out how to hold three pieces and add more all at once.
This is the best French braid tutorial! You actually break it down, thank you!
Thanks:):)
Wow this is the most helpful video I’ve seen I was holding my hair up and got the weird floods braid you were talking about and I had no idea why
So glad it helped:)
Me 2! I never knew what I did wrong until I found this video
after years of trying to figure out how to do this, this is the first helpful video where i didn’t find myself crying in the mirror but rather instantly knew how within minutes!! My hair looks like shit but i finally learned and now can practice!❤️❤️
My hair is really thick and I end up losing my strands. I’m also not sure how much hair to add to the strand when braiding :/
Don’t take a tiny amount but not huge chunk, an amount that’s easy to grab and work with. The more and smaller the strands the more detailed:) but with super thick hair u may need to take alittle more
