      She definitely could've done a better job explaining what the sensors detect and how much data they fed into the machine learning algorithm. Giving her the benefit of the doubt she could've understood it. In the video, she didn't say anything that's impossible to do with machine learning. For the most part, people who feed data into a machine learning algorithm on a higher level only know the accuracy of the program's result. How she got enough data to train the algorithm with only a small company testing a new setup of equipment is beyond me, but assuming she had the data there is no reason it shouldn't work.

      @@James-cb7nb i mean yea it could in that form but like why? She has a data set already why does she need to compute the equivalent position if she already knows it? Its all a bit shady. Also she didnt mension any kind of external cameras or motion sensors like vr and motion capture tech so im also confused on how the sensors know where they are unless and this is a big fucking stretch XD wifi signal can sometimes be used to measure relative distance but never has been truly accurate to be used to measure something especially like this product but maybe, just maybe she paid some properly innovative people and might have used that. Big maybe.

    The crazy part is that what the shark was asking was a very fundamental question. He was taking it light on her yet she literally knew nothing about what is going on. This type of technology is really hard to implement with sensors in pants. The better approach is to make an app that uses your phone camera to track the joints in your body and you can start striking poses that way; kind of like the just dance game. This way you will eliminate the need to produce yoga pants and just focus on charging people through the app.

    • @DrakeOola
      @DrakeOola 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That would be the best in theory but a phone cant support both computer vision and run an entire algorithm to check for optimal posture, on a beefy computer with webcam sure but you're not sending all that data on wifi let alone limited and bottlenecked mobile data... All that and its not even taking into account battery life, ease of positioning the camera while still being able to use the phone to change poses, etc...

    • @tamim24
      @tamim24 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DrakeOola the vision approach is still more realistic than what she had in mind. New phones definitely have the power to run simple stereo depth perception and keypoint detection with pretty good accuracy especially since most phones now have dual cameras and decent enough hardware. If you have a decent object detection algo to detect various joints combined with depth perception to find the relative distance and orientations of the joints with respect to each other you should be able to make this work.

    • @tamim24
      @tamim24 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      As for computation constraints, the power of any next gen phone out there should be enough especially since there are apps currently out there that leverage lidar on the iphone to map out surroundings and create a dense key point mapping. You should be able to make a light weight enough structure/app to make it work. I have done a lot more with a lot less hardware

    • @tamim24
      @tamim24 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      As for phones that have a single lens or one camera you can still easily use key point detection, will have to change the depth perception algo to a monocular one. This will depend on a lot of movement which should be achievable since the user will be striking different yoga positions

    Lemme break this down for you my guy.
    An AI takes in data from thousands of different shapes, sizes, heights, widths, and lengths. Is processes the data that is put into the sensors to determine your frame, in a visual standpoint think of it as your bone structure or a wire frame.
    It takes the data from previous models to calculate your limb length and, determining on the distance between sensors, it takes the closest data to your wire frame and determines if you are doing the pose correctly.
    It's like the Kinect, which reads the physical information through its camera to line certain points on your body to determine if youre in the correct position, except instead of pinpoints and physical information (aka camera input) it uses sensors, and previously sourced data.
    That's how machine learning works. It takes points and a wide amount of data and calculates the next correct outcome.
    It's not hard to comprehend machine learning. It is quite literally trial and error, say for example if you used an AI to control a robot and it kept falling over, except the trial and the error have been done for the AI and now all it needs to do is take all the data it's learned to calculate the most accurate next step.
    Besides, lining up sensors isn't even that complicated. It's getting the bot to determine if the sensors are in the correct spot which, again, is what the machine learning does.
