I’m an avid One Tigress User Too! I paired the one tigress working harness & zippered cape with an Arcadia Trail Harness. I braided a glow in the dark paracord grab handle that clips to her harness with Climbing Caribiners. Love seeing what other handlers use! My family thinks I’m a SD gear-aholic.... lol 😂 I have no where near the amount of gear you do! I have learned what works for me and my SD Black Lab Girl: basically from getting and trying things. Trial and error/ test driving stuff is best way. The recommendations from the SD community definitely helps tho! I’m definitely a Harry Potter Fan To! I can tell you really love Harry Potter. Here’s a weird thing my service dogs name is potter ( soon to be retired) but I don’t watch Harry Potter. I’m not really into stuff like that 😅.
I just subscribed I have a medical alert service dog I also have a TH-cam channel keep up the great work I have a small breed because I don’t need guide work or mobility work but whenever I have encountered fake service dog the owners say your dogs doing great I’m like yea same because my dogs a real service dog
What do you use as your recall collar? I seen in one of your videos that you had custom collars for your recall as well I think?. Is it interchangeable?
Watched like five AD gear haul videos now and feeling very inferior with my single training vest and none matching collar with a cheap non matching leash XD Just a shame about the e-collar, I don't get how anyone can justify aversive tools anyway (like prong collars) but especially on service dogs, if your dog has the training for staying in a heel or a downstay, why put these unnecessary devices on? (No hatred towards you, just sad to see this kind of thing)
Thanks for sharing your gear collection. Do you ever have trouble with people talking to your service dog using his name because it's written on his collar? I've resorted to giving my SD a pseudonym for when he's working because I don't like reprimanding people who have friendly intentions. Maybe you've found a better way to get around that.
why do you use a shock collar by the way? they are extremely not animal friendly. positive reinforcement is so much better and it doesnt actually hurt the animal.
Being completely honest. If your service dog isn’t able to stay quiet, you shouldn’t be taking him to school. He would probably be stressed if he isn’t desensitized and trained to ignore people.
@@akamumanokit4542 He IS ABLE to stay quiet thank you very much. If you read clearly, I stated that I want to make sure he is on his best behavior. I did not say that he has any sort of barking issue, or problems with being too vocal. You should not assume. He is a dog, and not a robot. Most dogs bark at some point in there life, it is natural. We go to stores, amusement and entertainment places, and he never once has barked at anyone or anything. I am just taking a preventative action to make sure he is successful, even if it is not an issue to him.
@@osita5578 muzzles dont prevent barking. a dog is supposed to be able to pant and drink water easily when wearing one. also i wouldnt recommend muzzling him as the school could assume he is aggressive or something and try to deny him

they are harmful to the dog and can cause burns and can also cause psychological harm. IF ANYONE IS THINKING ABOUT GETTING ONE, PLEASE THINK TWICE!!

Recommend for no bark muzzles? I will be taking my sdit to school for the first time in 11th grade, and want to make sure he is on his best behavior.
