First year kindergarten teacher, also in Florida. I absolutely agree with how intense kindergarten curriculum is. I took the job hoping it’d be cute and fun and singing and crafting. No it’s awful.😅 I think the behaviors stem from kindergarten work is not really appropriate and 7 hours is too long for a 5 year old to be in book work
