Builds and Paint Paint Your First Custom Gunpla Entry Grade RX78 | * Year Old

I couldn'ty be a prouder dad! After all, I AM Gundam Build World Cup Philippine Champion and to have my daughter take an interest in one of the things I'm most proud of in my existence on earth. She knew I was already champion a few months ago, but the reality of it didn't really sink in until I went to Japan to compete in the world finals.
That must has stirred something in her and she asked how does she win in a Gunpla competition. Well, your father is Champion and I am more than happy to pass along the secret skills I have learned to you.
We start off with the easiest of Gunpla, the entry grade RX78, which requires no tools to remove from the runners and with a simple one page instruction leaflet.
She has actually built a HG before but did so kinda horribly hahahaha. So this time around I left her to it and sure enough, she was able to build it all on her own.
Just building Gunpla is definitely not enough, any kids will be able to build, but its the painting what separates the girls from the ladies. And so I decided to throw her into the deepend right away and teach her pre post shading, or just sha
ding. Along with that, how to apply metallic paints.
And we are not done yet as I also teach her masking to achive color separation on the parts to really give it that custom look.
And the results speak for themselves!
