    Have you also used the same Ironridge All Tile Hooks on a curved concrete tile roof? Same procedure?

    I’ve never even seen a concrete tile roof in person. I would have been very intimidated if I had to install solar panels on it. Nicely done

      same here, first time touching it, it's really brittle and hard to walk and work.

      @@SolarEngineering These tiles are very common in England however most roofs do no have plywood bases or sarking boards as they call them here & instead just use something like a 50mm x 25mm wood batten for every row of tiles so the flashing you used would not work on most roofs. This means you cannot use the ironridge hook flashing, but I suppose the lack of a sarking board allows the felt should be installed with a slight sag between rafters mean most water should not meet the hook.

    Never even heard of concrete tiles for a roof. I guess it is similar to working on a slate roof. I have no experience on any of those however.

    Very good job, my roof has been leaking
    But the Sun Solar system can’t fix it
    Can you fix it?

    • @SolarEngineering
      @SolarEngineering  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks, I'm not fixing leaks. Only can remove/reinstall panels for re-roofing.

      @@Cordycep1 Note at 1:04 that both ends of the wire are bent in the same direction. Whenever rafter is missed, to find out if it's on the left or right of the drilled hole, I'm inserting the wire into the hole and rotate it, you can feel it when it's touching rafter.
