In Artemovsk/Bakhmut and, especially, in Soledar we can expect the same situation as in Azovsahl in Mariupol. If you look up "Soledar salt mines", or in russian language "соляные шахты Соледара", you will find photos of these huge, vast underground spaces, capable to hold more than 3000 people, and even cars and tanks! They used to hold concerts and other events in these underground halls, more than 100 meters down the surface. But a few years ago these salt mines were closed to the public and are under military supervision since. The rumor I have from my Ukrainian acquaintances hint at some super secret nuclear production which was going on there for the last 4-5 years. Same in Bakhmut.

You will see shock and awe bombing without regards for life and property. Most Russia bombings are not targeting human beings but infrastructure. So don't poke the bear. Russia has not gone in guns blazing . Ukraine is family to Russia. It's when two brothers fight, it's different from two strangers. Take it or leave it.

I never thought this could happen in Europe. Fighting for identity?: is it not tribal war?
If one side says 'hey lets stop fighting for a few days' and the other side says 'nah, we'll keep fighting' then you don't have a ceasefire to break. Why is the news reported like this? Russia is the aggressor in this conflict, so why do you have to manipulate the facts this way? You present it as though Ukraine was right that it was a tactic but we have no idea if it would have worked because Ukraine never agreed to a cease fire.
Warfare question: What is the logic behind shelling the empty city? Are Ukrainian soldiers hiding out in the city? What other strategic purpose is there?
