I kinda wish they'd go back to how the original games played, not just story wise. Back then the weapons completely changed as they upgraded. The designed noticeably changed and the attacks evolved in even more noticeable ways. They nailed the visuals in this game, then next game needs to step it up with weapons.

@@thefierycharmeleon164 in the new one, yes. In the old ones no, there where plenty, affecting actually your damage resistance, and in the first one, you could put in and out all the helmets, boots and packs you got through the adventure.
@@ciligonzalez2897 Yeah, I was talking about the new game, not the old games. It's really disappointing to see only one armor in the game.
@@thefierycharmeleon164 the new game is simply disappointing, Ratchet one is my favorite ps2 game, it feels shortchanged, all the super charged graphics, for 30 fps, atrocious writing and way less features than the original trilogy. Yeah the game was 40 bucks, but I remember buying the original new for 30. Just sad...

Then the future series.
When you want to play a coop version play all4one and when you want to play a tower defense version play full frontal assault. When you skip them then watch the cutscenes on youtube. After that you can play nexus. You can also skip the PS4 game. Its very cringe and its downgraded for kids.

@BalticFin they added an open world item hunt level that wasn't in the original and there were plenty of levels from the original they didn't add. Its not like they kept the "remake" faithful in the first place so that argument is completely pointless.
@BalticFin I'm not personally disappointed by that myself but considering that it isn't a complete one to one remake anyway and they specifically changed things to make it more in line with the way the series overe time became anyways, there is nothing wrong with others wishing they added a Colosseum level. However, for me personally I'm more disappointed about the levels that were in the original that were cut from the remake as well as the segments that were removed from the levels that were included from the original.
@BalticFin why would a remake have guns thr original didn't have then? The original also didn't have an insomniac museum but this one does and this a reboot not a remake your argument is stupid.

+PervertedNovaxc3 they made it so as soon as he gets shot he dies thats why in the video he jumps around, its actually kinda pointless using him in the games same with allot of the other weapons as some guns are just superior to others and some are just useless
RatyTang That's actually pretty lame that they made that change. It was always cool to have him (and the earlier agents of dread) just hover around and shoot things. I'm not surprised by some guns being better than others, that's been a thing since the first game really.

+RatyTang I tend to use all the weapons. All of them have their moments imo. The one I use the least if I had to say is the Magmabuster. Maybe the Protoclast as well since that is really situational.
This is an awesome assortment of weapons, I wish they had brought back the Suck Cannon but this is still an impressive arsenal.

Yeah that would be nice if they brought it back in re-imaginings for Going Commando and Up Your Arsenal.

i felt as though there were so many weapons to upgrade that once i maxed one weapon out, i had to move onto the next so i couldnt really enjoy its maxed out power. in fact, the leveling the goatinator was my last trophy to platinum. #firstworldproblems

Goatinator was my first to max out then, great weapon and loads of rareiterium to further develop every other weapon

So many returning weapons . combuster , fusion granade , predator launcher , groovitron , mr zurkon , pyro blaster, buzz blades (tools of destruction) , plasma striker (a crack in time) , goatinator , warmanger (all 4 one) , bouncer (ratchet and clank 2 ) , drone glove (2002)
Sheepinator came from Going Commando.
"Pyro blaster"? Yes, it has the same model as the tools of destruction Pyro blaster, but the actual gun is the pyrocitor from the first game.

Plasma slayer easily one of the very best weapons in the game
This is why the RYNO is my favourite weapon in any video game

It's a weapon of hyperdeath that plays cool classical music while firing it. What's not to enjoy about it?
The second I got it I let off 1,000 on that Blackwater City street.
I can't wait to get this game to use all those awesome weapons and upgrade them, collect the gold bolts and the holocard sets. It's coming for me tomorrow.

I cannot find or get the doom blades heroic ones. I bought all the other weapons and have them level 10 but the doom blades never appeared for me.

I don't see why people dislike RYNO in this game, yeah, it's different than the first, but Peacemaker functions too much like the original RYNO (from the first game). I love this RYNO!
I love the RYNO in this game as well! The only one I dislike is from Ratchet and Clank; Up Your Arsenal since it just a makes the screen all white and kills everything on sight.
+Proudsonic885 Yes! I dislike RYNO from Up Your Arsenal too. (Still it's my favorite R&C game) But I would even say that RY3NO is almost no fun whatsoever. My personal favorite is Shock Cannon. :)

I honestly was a bit salty for the fact that they decided to make the projectiles yellow instead of the movie accurate green color.
Seriously, if you watch the movie, when nefarious charges the ryno, it was GREEN. Why did this game mess it up?

How did you improve all the weapons? Because when I'm in the Challenge Mode on the planet Pokitaru and come back to the planet Novalis, no enemies are anymore.

honestly though, I think I have WAAAAAYYYYY more fun with the Peacemaker than any other gun in this game. yeah, the RYNO is OP and all but, it just doesn't feel all that fun, tbh. it just feels like it's there for the sake of being there.
the fully upgraded warmonger reminds me of the decinator V5

+William White Nice joke. the Warmonger the (current) strongest missile launcher in the series and is on par with the heavy bouncer (which is a feat among itself! Bouncer is very overpowered!).

+The random Pony The RYNO is MUUUUUCH more OP than the Bouncer. It kills Nefarious in One recharge go. I mean I had him I think at 40 or 30% health BEFORE he went to recharge to 80%.

can someone explain to me how do I upgrade my weapon to maxinum level? the one I use the most is at level 5 but it doesnt go ay higher then that!! and on this video it saids that is max level is 10... how do reach 10 with one weapon? i keep killing enemies but it doesnt go higher then 5... i even upgraded everything from the same weapon but im still level 5
You can level up your weapons again in Challlenge Mode, but need to buy a better version of the weapon again in order to level it up again.
