I know this is gonna sound like me jumping on the "deep analysis" bandwagon, but I wanted to add an interpretation that I found interesting in the way you remixed this to represent Shadow: You took the ending of the song and put it at the beginning (which sounds REALLY good by the way), which makes me think of how Shadow's old life ended that day when Maria sacrificed herself to save him and send him to Earth. You have the lyrics of the ending part that talk about the end and "You'll find your flame" which has the same underlying tone of Maria's last words to Shadow. And once that beginning part ends, the main part of the song begins and the first verse of Find Your Flame now starts to play out (with the Live and Learn accompaniment), which goes from the more solemn and emotional tone to aggressive declarations that feels like there's no link between them. Like Shadow. I'm reading into it too much but even if it's unintentional, it's cool to see it all come together.
