In this video, I'm explaining how to choose a motherboard correctly that compatible with the chosen CPU From the previous video. The motherboard is the spine of our computer all the components of the computer are connecting to the motherboard so we should choose that wisely. There are several things that you should know when choosing a motherboard. The first thing is the form factor of the motherboard. There are many types of different form factors or sizes. Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, ATX & E-ATX are the most popular ones among them. Then we must consider the CPU socket type. The CPU socket is the port that connects the processor to the motherboard. There are different socket types to each intel generation but yet the AMD CPU socket is AM4. In 10th gen Intel CPUs, they are using a socket called LGA1200. We can see the CPU socket type from the details of the processor. Then we must consider the Chipset. Briefly, Chipset act as the communication center for all the components in the computer including CPU, RAM, Storage devices, etc. So the number of different components and technology that supports them depends on these chipsets. CPU manufacturers are introducing several chipsets for each of their CPU generations. Mainly those are divided as Budget, Mainstream & Enthusiast-level chipsets.

Very useful video with clear content! Brother, Is it practical to use an I9 10th gen Processor with a "MSI B460m pro vdh" motherboard? I currently have an I5 10th processor but i'm planning to upgrade it to an I9...Is it okay to use it with my B460 motherboard?
Yes it is practical. But, to get the maximum performance from i9 CPU(over clocking) you have to go to a z series motherboard. Other wise it is totaly fine.
