Most definitely a nice vlog. I saw some of this live as Brad was wolfing down that mountain of rice. The AA hand was special and I liked the QQ, along with a number of others. Congrats Andrew. Well played. 👍 Oh, I was about to hit the send button then remembered to add that your calling out the hand numbers was a nice touch. 👌

Nice vlog as usual. If its not too much work editing wise, I would suggest censoring your equity/the outs when heads up on the screen if you're going to censor the other players cards. I like the idea of playing blind with you but without those its not really blind.

Dear Andrew, thank you for sharing a part of your life with us for several years now. I know these stakes are very large for you and it's awesome to see you do well in them. But seeing you play 2/5 or 5/10 is always exciting for your loyal fans. There's nothing wrong with being "comfortable" and doing what you love to do for a living and being successful at smaller stakes. The quality you put into your videos and your knowledge of poker and your sense of humor make you the best poker vlogger out there. I enjoy a lot of the other vloggers as well but I am always stoked to see a new video from you. I know about a year ago or so you really cut back on making videos but it would be a very sad day if you ever decide to stop making them. That said I just wanted to share a heartfelt thank you for all you do for us. Don't go up in these massive stakes for our sake because we will watch no matter the stakes. Wishing you all the success in the world Andrew you deserve it.

Question. Wouldn’t playing “normal“ poker during the nit game be better EV than trying to play crazy? If you owe 2100 to the table if you are last with the button wouldn’t that 2100 be worth it to not put yourself in negative EV situations? And that’s assuming you lose the nit game every time. Winning even below a 1/8 rate but playing optional poker seems to be the better long term approach to the nit game. At least to me it does.

It’s about image too. When Mariano got into a similar spot with AA vs two KK, people said he just got lucky to be in that spot and anyone would’ve gotten paid. I know the action wasn’t quite the same with him, but the main point is that Mariano is capable of making 4 bets with crazy hands, so there was no way his opponents could fold KK to him. Andrew isn’t a nit but doesn’t make crazy plays as often as Mariano, so no one would expect him to get out of line here.
Andrew’s opponents are more skilled than Mariano’s were, but I bet one of Mariano’s opponents would’ve folded to Andrew and one of Andrew’s opponents would’ve gone with it against Mariano.

One of your tells with the aces hand was licking your lips. Just a thought 😁. I have asked in the past about being able to be your eyes and ears at the poker table with keeping up with every little movment you make and what the players in the hands do as well in each position, that way you can focus on your game. Still an idea for the future 😁.
