    I will always enjoy Neeme vlogs cause the way he narrates his hand histories it's like he's telling you at the bar or something. It's chill and humble

    I really enjoy how when Neeme is describing bad short term variance he doesn't come off as whiny or complaining. It is a testament to his experience and ability to factually and logically explain his thought process and what is happening in the games while referencing long term implications. I haven't been a huge fan of VLOG style poker bc I am a dirty online player, but over the passed few weeks I have come to acknowledge that I have been stubbornly missing out on not only great content, but admittedly superior poker players (edit for clarification: superior to me). Not that you needed it, but you've secured another fan with your excellent temperament.

      Thanks man. Appreciate that. Tbh I’m definitely feeling it in the moment, on the inside. I’m not sure which is healthier-raging externally or doing my best to keep it suppressed. But when you’ve got DQ on the table playing blind, in a room that you’ve got a piece of, how bad can life be. 😅
      Also there is a very good chance that you’re the superior player, and the fact that you’re being humble about it only strengthens my read.

      @@patrickplayspokerbadly6230 we obviously only see a tiny amount of their play. Rampage has done quite well in tourneys Tournaments are kind of a joke to me. When it constantly comes down to flips and he wins a good deal of them it’s not really poker. Don’t think Mariano has any real interest in tourneys Except maybe WSOP. I’ve watched both more or less from their beginning.

      It's not a great spot for a bet from Andrew really. His bet doesn't make sense; his range is super polarised yet the bet sizing represents a simple value bet.
      There also doesn't seem to be any consideration of what he's trying to make fold. Would we bet like this with a house - we'd be seeking value from a pocket pair or a lesser full house.
      Andrew doesn't seem to take a wide range post-flop either, so he doesn't hit this board hard with his range. The range should be stronger for the guy who calls him down.
      Given that this guy called down with the ace of clubs in his hand - the worst possible ace to call with - can't help but say the caller has soul-read what he's up to here.

    • @AndrewNeeme
      @AndrewNeeme  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Think I could have trips, straights, and boats. Seems like a wide enough range to not go super polar but 🤷🏼‍♂️. Credit to Alex.

    • @w0rld_d
      @w0rld_d ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AndrewNeeme Having watched you for a few years, I don't think you have any straights here.
      Perhaps you do, but I don't think you defend 35s or 58s against an under the gun+1 6x open. Not sure how the "nit game" dynamic you talk about plays out though tbf. Certainly 2.5k pot and 17k stack depth, it can't be a winning play to do so. 58 doesn't make it past a continuation bet on a rainbow board too.
      I don't even think you are coming post-flop with any 2x hands either, except pocket 2s. Perhaps you can have every suited combination of A2, but again I can't imagine flatting pre with A2s is a play you'd make without the nit game dynamic, even from the button.
      On the river, you're checking back anything that isn't a house or a set. Wonder if you'd choose this sizing too with pockets 4s in hand.
      You're without doubt a better player than me, so :hands up: - just my take - keep the vids coming 👍

    • @AndrewNeeme

    I'm sure it's the unpopular opinion....but people like DQ don't actually make the game better. Calling a river bet blind??? It's so hard to play against those people because the money doesn't really matter to them. It's not normal poker.
    That aside.....I know he's a good guy and generally good for the game, but often times I think it's too much. Also makes it hard to play them at times.

      Hey Rick. I think it depends on what you mean by "make the game better." If you want to watch the best players against the best players, then Poker Vlogger vs DQ is not what you're looking for. You'll find that on PokerGo during the Poker Masters or something similar. But this kind of game that you're watching is a mixed bag--similar to what you'll find in a home game but ran professionally. If you want gambling, fun, good "action" (meaning people playing lots of hands) then guys like DQ are what you're looking for.

    I've been noticing larger sized chips in play. The 1k and 5k. Why? It looks gimmicky. Are players not able to differentiate the larger chips by color? What's next, the european placards?

    Love your stuff man I do have a question and I hope you can answer. When it comes to the WPT sponsorship, did Brad bring you over or did you bring Brad over to it? I feel like it was one of those situation where one of you said I’m not doing this without my bro, let’s set something up for both of us and to be honest I feel like it was Brad that did it even though you’ve been doing it longer.
    Are my instincts correct or am I just tripping?

    If I was gunna rank the poker vloggers skill-wise I’d say:
    Tier 1: elite
    1. Doug Polk
    Tier 2: would trust their advice
    2. Mariano
    3. Neeme
    Tier 3: solid
    4. Johnny Vibes (sound player)
    Tier 4: can’t argue with results
    5. Rampage (tournaments specifically; cash, he might be last. bit of a luckbox)
    6. Degenerate Gambler/ Ryan Depaulo
    Bottom tier: Fun to watch but too many leaks in game
    7. Brad Owen (enjoy his vlogs but he’s extremely overrated and makes all his money from TH-cam)
    8. Ben Deach (plays too tight, exploitable)
