To further improve this tutorial : Let simplified the bones and this also be applied to the cross-brace respectively. (from left to right) bone 1 and bone 2 (bottom) bone 3 and bone 4 (top) bone 5 - horizontal (bottom) // the bone which we control horizontally in this case bone 6 - horizontal (top) // the bone which we control horizontally in this case To connect the bottom bones and top bones so that they can work in IK mechanism. Simply put empty at the origin of bone 3 and bone 4 and parent them accordingly to cross-brace 1 and cross-brace 2. So we, have empty.001 and empty.002 here, and parent them accordingly. After that, go to pose mode. Select bone 3, add bone constraint "Copy Location" and target it to empty.001. And do the same to the bone 6, select the bone 6, and the target it to empty.002. I think this way is good to go to connect all the bones so that they all consist of the one IK system.

My bone 2nd from the bottom on the right is free floating around it doesnt stay connect. I have redone this multiple times. Am I missing a step?
