Hi Joe, there's some standalone bridge support assets in the workshop that you could place under any bridges with unrealistically long spans if it annoys you enough
Might be a good idea to build the part of Stansted Airport to Birmingham crosscountry route between Cambridge and Birmingham via Peterbrough. It would stop Cambridge to Birmingham passengers having to change in London. If you're feeling extra keen you could build a junction in the middle of nowhere where the Cambridge - Birmingham line crosses the Midland mainline and call it Leicester.
a good tip that i found from another channel is whatever the place is (e.g coal rate is at 100, then the lines need to be at 100), is to do balance it with the rate of what the place can do, it means that you won't need as many trucks
An idea. What about a truck route that runs the entire map. Because irl there’s some really long truck routes that run quite along way up and down the country
My laptop just dies on this map which is a shame as I started at Edinburgh and nailed a real beauty of a goods station that connected to the two factories there plus a large dock (almost correct place for Leith dock but more fluke than judgement), and wangled it to have a turnaround too. I always come undone trying to get the steelworks at Stirling running well then shifting the steel and planks through the central belt to the factories.

Does the thumb nail display as train sim classic for anyone else 🥰
Ahhhhh yeah I think I’ve messed that up haven’t I 🤣
Yes it says Train Sim.
Logo was train sim classic but the thumbnail most definitely had a Joe bridge
To add the wheat back in if you go to the paint tools the second to last tab is where you will find it, great video again :)
Ahhhhh I’ll put the farmers wheat back in for them! Cheers for that 😁
I strongly recommend the mod "Track design patterns". Among other patterns it has ready-built crossovers. Highly customizable as well.

So, basically, Cambridge gets a mini M24 before London does? Seems legitimate 😂

If you build multiple terminals in London could you build an underground to connect them all?
Stick a tree in the corn where you accidentally removed it
I think you should do The southern passenger services next
Great series Mr dobson, but I am trying to find the mod that gives you those platform ends that are curved can you please let me know thank you sir
Start constructing the commuter service to Reading.
Nice
You should do a service to Brighton via Hastings next.
We'll get some South-London passenger services in soon! :D
the goods hub idea doesnt seem good, it seems doing deliveries directly makes the most sense
Cambridge has more platforms for greater anglia thameslink great northern and XC services
About 8 in total
And Cambridge north has 3 platforms
Joe could you use a curved platform in this series
das ist perfekt
Change it to London Euston St Pancross Street!
commuter services to peterborough
Yep! That’ll go down well I think, though Peterborough looks a bit smaller than Cambridge
