I swear to Celestia I know row operations but every time I try I get a basic operation wrong and it all falls apart. I'm literally running out of paper and hope.
That side, great lesion! video and audio is high quality, you speak clearly and your way of showing the steps is rly g00d.

Easier start: Swap rows 1 and 3 of the augmented matrix. Now you have a 1 in the upper left corner. Doesn’t matter that the identity portion on the right is out-of-order; you’re gonna change it anyway.

But seriously, this was a fine explanation and it's a good deal clearer now. So much appreciation.

It's so much easier to compute the adjunct matrix via the method of cofactors, and then multiply by 1 over the determinant. It's so much easier. Takes away all the guessing.

    • @walterpu8357

row reduction is faster if have enough practice. Cofactor is easier but it requires more calculation

Just to clarify. This finds the Left inverse Matrix, to find the right inverse matrix, you'd do the same thing, but switching the sides correct? I always get mixed up with which side gives which Matrix, but I know that since AB=/=BA, A^-R=/=A^-L where A^-r is the right matrix, and A^-L is the left inverse matrix namely A^-L*A=I and AA^-R=I

Sir I have a difficulty understanding this video. If the row operations are swap, scale and pivot why didnt you use swap operation at first. Also If I multiply Row2 by 2 and add it to row 1 should row 1 change. But Row1 is kept same until 5:0. Hope you can help

Ok, I'm having some trouble grasping what this actually means.
If you have a system in augmented matrix form like this:
    [ a b | 1 ]
    [ c d | 1 ]
I know that corresponds to the system:
    ax + by = x
    cx + dy = y
But what does this correspond to?
    [ a b | 1 0 ]
    [ c d | 0 1 ]
    Is it the same thing?

    0 | 1 | 0
    But you applied on 2 | 0 | 2
    0 | 2 | 0

      i think it used the "A A^(-1) = I "
remember how to find Ax=b ? just doing the "RREF" [A |b ] you can find the solution of x
SO same as the above method, you can find the solution of A^(-1)
