Thank you so speaking out for the silent majority of Hong Kong. Most people just want stability and prosperity. What ever political agenda the protesters and rioters have, they have not right to damage public properties and ruin people’s everyday lives.
Du Minnie You are absolutely right. Remaining silent is supporting the problem. However, is there a way to voice opinions in a way that will be heard? The protesters (and rioters) certainly have their channels. It’s violent and illegal but it is also loud and clear, and most of all, a concentrated effort. Right now there is no effective channels for the anti-violent majority to raise their voices. Just face it, even if someone organize a rally most peace-loving citizens are not likely to join. There is work and family to worry about or maybe it is simply the fear of retaliation. Why can’t we have servers like 連登for anti-violence? And I really hope that someone can start something like a Change .org petition for the government to declare emergency law, or establish the anti-mask law, etc. it is safe and easy, and no one needs to show their identity. The protesters in HK seems to think election and voting can solve all the problems HK has. I think they hold this idea so dearly just because they never truly had election. They certainly did not have it under British colonists. They did not truly get it after that. After living in one of most democratic countries for years, I can tell you election won’t solve everything. First you are given the candidates to vote. And most candidates are controlled by money, big corporations etc. They don’t work for the people in the country. They work for themselves and the people gave them money. Secondly, the mass media are also controlled by few big corporations. The average Joes barely have time and resources to do enough research to independently figure out right or wrong. In 2016, Bernie Sanders seemed a decent people and care for the people in the country. But he lost to a person who were backed the party and rich corporations. Then the person lost to another person who were admired by half of the country and hated by another half and never dare to show his tax return paper. How CCP work still seems a myth to me. However just from the results, it looks like they are doing good job. Just like HK, Shanghai is a mega city and crowded with people. HK used to be many times more advanced than Shanghai. But now, Shanghai is way better than HK. At least in Shanghai more and more get better living space. I think HK people really need to stop what they are doing, open the mind and think hard what is good for them. Lastly, I am a real person and nobody told me or paid me to say the things above.

Bro, I am from the US and support the HK police. The media make the police seem like violent/cruel individuals but I can tell you I've never seen more restraint from any cops in the world such as HK cops. You guys warn with multiple stages of banners that is going to happen to an unruly crowd if they do not disperse. A lot of these people are young people who are too dumb to think for themselves. The sacrifice of the city is important to their supposed cause.

Hi Raz! I'm an Overseas Chinese born in HK. Thank you so much for this video. It is truly shameful and very saddening what rioting thugs have been doing to the city. I am used to telling my friends that we have the best public transportation system in HK, and some of then have been to the city for conferences and they loved what we have. I've never seen Molotov cocktails thrown at police, or people destroying train stations before in my life! The 1967 riots were before I was born. You will have a better perspective than I do, but it seems Hong Kong's police doesn't have enough manpower to protect all the public infrastructure. They are usually late on the scene. If so, maybe PLA needs to be called to support HK's police and stop the thugs from being able to start anything. Stay safe!
At the end of the day, the taxpayers are paying for the damages, not just Curry lamb and her LegCo. Refrain from vandalism.it is easy to destroy but difficult to build.

The last interviewee actually seems to be fine with these protests and has no problem working at home. That's probably why these protests can keep going on and on. If Hong Kong people don't worry about their situation, then why should we? All we can offer is our sympathy. Thanks Raz for showing these shocking event. Too spoilt and and throwing tantrums like 5 years old that could not get their toys. Have seen many times in public during my years living in HK. And now these kids grown up physically but mentally is a 5 years old. Get envious and could not compete in an ultra competitive environments and could not get what they want then throwing tantrums in a big way. Eventually their parents are paying as those are tax payers money, with the economy suffering see if their parents will still have a job in 2-3 months, and once the vicious cycle of economy down turn, they will get their own medicine but it’s probably too late to them anyway.

我是一個香港的青少年，我很不贊同那些人的做法。我覺得每個人是有自由，有自己的權利去表達自己的意見，但是沒有權力去影響其他人的生活。
遊行真的可以接受，但後面一連串的暴力行為，我覺得真的很過分嗎，但他們還在影響到別人後一直洗白，一直說：對不起，但我們也要這樣做。
他們一直覺得他們在代表所有的香港人，但我想說的是，並不是。
還有，他們說要一個自由的香港，但為什麼他們要攻擊或不接受一些不同立場的人呢？不是說言論自由，政治自由嗎？為什麼現在就那麼雙重標準呢？
他們為了他們自己的所謂"自由" 而強暴別人生活工作的自由，他們不是傻，而是太自私太壞。試想，如果香港真如他們所願被他們掌權，那將是人間地獄!
現在已經失序了連一般民眾都有可能突然被逮捕我覺得兩邊都有問題了（政府與示威者）

很多键盘俠經常説為甚麼我們香港有這麼多人不出聲制止，沉默就是我們默許丶作、活該丶咎由自取，但正所謂槍打出頭鳥，我們背後不像那些暴徒有傳媒、外國的資金和媒體支持，新聞上已經可以見到我們只要一出聲，就會被起底、網上被辱罵、甚至被打得狗血淋頭，我倒是想問問如果你是當事人，你明知一出頭的話就被人問候你全家，甚至咒你绝子绝孫，你還會敢站在道德高地出來讉责别人嗎？

我看了不少評論，說「如果在大陸就xxx」，我想說的是香港在政制上與大陸完全不同，我們有言論集會自由，不可能用暴力去振壓，所以香港的國際形象只會下滑得更嚴重，别再天真了。而有些無知的香港年輕人說自己不是港獨，只是五大訴求，可是該訴求正是由港獨分子去提出來的，而且不合理的，請想一下，如果我在你家以民主自由之名殺人放火，被抓後要求放人，你同意嗎？别再盲目跟風了，回赠你們一句，人是有自由意志的，林鄭多無能也好，也不是用武力去表達，帶頭的人搞完事去美國申請绿卡，而你們呢？只是他們名成利就的腳踏石而已，香港人醒醒吧！
經常說警察暴力，還是那句，如果你是警察，天天被打而不能還手，你有甚麼感受？的確有時警察有點過份，但他們也是人，也有情绪的！你們說警察打死人，證據呢？你們說警察射盲了一個女人，但她自己也不肯報警，為甚麼？因為醫院已經驗查出是被彈珠所傷，難道警察搶了示威者的丫叉去射她？

Hi Raz! I'm an Overseas Chinese born in HK. Thank you so much for this video. It is truly shameful and very saddening what rioting thugs have been doing to the city. I am used to telling my friends that we have the best public transportation system in HK, and some of then have been to the city for conferences and they loved what we have. I've never seen Molotov cocktails thrown at police, or people destroying train stations before in my life! The 1967 riots were before I was born. You will have a better perspective than I do, but it seems Hong Kong's police doesn't have enough manpower to protect all the public infrastructure. They are usually late on the scene. If so, maybe PLA needs to be called to support HK's police and stop the thugs from being able to start anything. Stay safe!

Thanks Raz for showing these shocking event. Too spoilt and and throwing tantrums like 5 years old that could not get their toys. Have seen many times in public during my years living in HK. And now these kids grown up physically but mentally is a 5 years old. Get envious and could not compete in an ultra competitive environments and could not get what they want then throwing tantrums in a big way. Eventually their parents are paying as those are tax payers money, with the economy suffering see if their parents will still have a job in 2-3 months, and once the vicious cycle of economy down turn, they will get their own medicine but it’s probably too late to them anyway.
