0:05: Kudos to the girl's mom for getting to the bottom of who was harrassing her. And kudos to the dad for disciplining his son over his actions. It's so easy for some people to flex their cyber muscles.
3:26: Sarah upstages Emma at her wedding, so Emma returns the favor. Sweet revenge. Plus, a nice gender reveal at that!
7:07: The job of a teacher is not only to teach the subject in question, but to make her students better people in the process. Mrs. Frank did neither. She deserved not only to be fired, but to not be hired by any other school district. Some "teachers" become teachers for all the wrong reasons.

I think the only EXCEPTION for announcing your own engagement/pregnancy at someone else's wedding is: if the bride and groom are 100% okay with this and you've privately talked to them about it ahead of time. if they say no, then fully respect that and choose a different time to announce your engagement/pregnancy that ISN'T at the wedding or reception.

So, I had a 6th grade teacher that was kind of the opposite, I guess, in some way? She was bold, straightforward, and pretty cold to students, so none of the students liked her - except me. I was a VERY quiet student, and a lot of my teachers really liked me cause I didn't cause trouble and I was always very pleasant and understanding to them - except this teacher. She rarely had hallway chats with the other nearby teachers during time between classes like all the other teachers did, and I could tell, even as a 10/11-year old, that she was kind of socially awkward like I was. I would still treat her pleasantly like I did all my other teachers. She was even quite rude to me after I returned from school asking for missed assignments, cause I had missed a day to be with my mom while my first little sister was born. At first, she refused to give me my work, but after I told my parents, the school forced her to give me my missed work. DESPITE this, I was STILL pleasant to her. I hate confrontation, and I didn't want to be trouble to my hardworking teachers, especially since I was well aware of how crappy my fellow classmates treated some of the teachers. I swear, to this day, that I beyond surprised her. I hadn't asked very many of my teachers to sign my yearbook, but she was one of the ones I actually asked. After expectedly giving me a cheeky comment about why-on-earth I'd want HER to sign my yearbook, she did, and she couldn't hide a little smile. I could tell that I had made her day cause everyone was always so distant from her cause no one liked her. At the end of it all, too, she was VERY good at teaching. I was, am, and always have been garbage at math (she was the Algebra teacher). But to this day, simple algebra is SO EASY for me... I STILL REMEMBER her shortcuts and everything (I'm 32 now, btw). Her code for PEMDAS was "Pee-yew, everyday my darn arm stinks." I thought she was hilarious, and even with her distant awkwardness, I loved her as a teacher, she was amazing at what she did. She was a bit older at the time though, and I don't know if she's still around, which makes me sad.
Kudos to those that made it this far through that wall of text. 💕

The third story sounds really similar to something I had experienced in 5th grade- also a math teacher as well. We’ll call her Mrs M. Mrs M was also seen as a saint by everybody, and could “never harm anyone”. Little did they know what was going on behind closed doors. She was verbally rude to most kids in the class, but was worse to me. She would embarrass me every time I got a question wrong. (at the time I wasn’t diagnosed with a learning disability in math, which would explain why I was seen as the “dumb kid”) one day, during red ribbon week (for those who don’t know, red ribbon week is basically an anti-drug week), I was drawing a red ribbon for it. Instead of telling me to put it away, which I would’ve obeyed, she grabbed my arm and dug her nails into my skin. She told me to never draw in her class again, and I said through tears “yes ma’am.” I had a red mark in that spot for the next week, and it formed a bruise after that. My mom didn’t believe me at first, until other kids started coming forward and saying it was true. My mom believed me, but of course the school didn’t believe any of us because Mrs M was seen as a Saint. She never got in trouble, and eventually left only because she was pregnant.

That one with the teacher reminds me of my grade 2 teacher (7 years old). She would call people stupid and slow simply because they had questions or took a little more time on tests. The amount of times I was called stupid by her, literally made me not do my homework because "why bother? I'm too stupid anyway". She had done this in the past as well and apparently my mom and some of the other moms and dads were warned by parents whose children had had her in the past to keep an eye out for things like this because they had noticed this type of behaviour from their kids and tried to get her fired, but administration just brushed it off. Well, when my mom and some of the other parents went to administration with the same complaints, administration had to do something. Unfortunately "doing something" simply only involved transferring her to another school district. I hate to think how many children's lives she f***ed up. Luckily my grade 3 teacher had dealt with kids from her class in the past so he knew how to teach us so we would feel smart and the number 1 rule in his class was "there is no such thing as a dumb question"

TLDR: My revenge was that I got a horrible person rightfully fired from a previous job. She was verbally abusing others.
This person was an employee I unfortunately worked with, and I'll call her Emma. I worked as a Resident Counselor for the Developmentally Disabled and had the misfortune of working with Emma. She was lazy to say the least; she wouldn't help us with anything. She would go into the office and just work on written reports so she could sit her lazy self down. On some occasions, we caught her gaming on her phone too.
Everyone hated working with her, she would demean the clients we took care of, especially one in particular. She would literally yell at this individual pretty much every time we worked. She would specifically do things we were told not to do, show clear favoritism, and belittle employees. Pretend to be nice, then makeup lies about you behind your back. The 1st time I had to work with her, she freaking whistled at me like a dog and made me bring up stuff from a different floor because she didn't want to walk to get it herself. "She had just sat down." She literally whined.
I had one day when my time of the month started, and I had to call out to her to bring me my bag because it had my stuff in it. The other employee was out on an outing or else I would have called for them instead. But Emma, of course, lied to management and said I was in the bathroom for hours. There was another day she made me go out on a few errands for the house, which I love doing because it means putting up with her less. And she again lied to management and said I was out for hours upon hours on end just joyriding, apparently. I got called into the manager's office and had to account for everything I did while out, including exact times, but I still got written up.
At one point she surprisingly got a boyfriend and she would have him over at the house. We would notice her not in the office where she normally hid, and when we'd look for her, she'd just be outside talking to him while he was outside in his truck. I was even told that she had him inside the house and even had him in the office itself. Which is a HUGE NO, because she literally had the client's medications out as she was counting them!! Only workers are allowed in the office areas, and we weren't even supposed to tell people where the job was located.
Management turned a blind eye to it because they enjoyed that she was a "snitch" even though most of the stuff she lied about or exaggerated. However, even the managers hated working with her...But of course, if we had days where the higher-ups sat in to watch, Emma suddenly became Suzy Homemaker rushing to get everything done before us so that she looked like the perfect angel. Because she wanted to make us look lazy, even though she was the actual lazy one.
When I left that job we had an exit interview and the section they had for complaints was the tiniest box imaginable. I wrote see attached pages and wrote up 10 pages about everything that happened there and the majority was about Emma. Including dates, times, durations, etc. And, of course, it was all just from my perspective. I didn't care if the blame for her getting fired was all on me because I was leaving the state entirely and I never would work for them again anyway.
Most of the other employees I worked with were phenomenal, though. I was happy to hear that my report made her lose her job there. Because she absolutely didn't deserve it for what she was putting everyone else through.
She was there for MANY years, when I joined the company she was actually out on medical leave. Eventually, she came back and I didn't have to work with her for even half the time most of them had to put up with her. I'm glad I said to heck with it, I'm out, and I took her out with me. That was some of the best revenge I've ever gotten on someone. Emma didn't deserve a job with people she would verbally abuse and treat like trash. Especially when they are your coworkers and ESPECIALLY if they are clients with developmental disabilities whom you are supposed to be helping.
This is just extra, not involving "Emma"
WHY I QUIT: They refused to let me use my PTO and their excuse was that "I didn't earn it." This coming from the same job that I had to work a 41-hour shift, straight through before. 5 am Saturday morning until 10 pm Sunday night. I had to go in early on Saturday to relieve the previous overnight person early. Then work my 1st shift, the overnight shift that called in, my 2nd shift. Then stay an extra hour after my shift ended on Sunday because that overnight person came in late. At this job we couldn't leave until the next shift arrived and we updated them on the entire shift. But even though I was working myself to death, I hadn't earned my time off.
The only time I ever took off from work there was when I had to miss about 2 months' worth of shifts because I was ill and actually contagious. I had doctors notes and everything. I still had PTO left after my medical time off but they refused to let me use it. So I put in my 2 weeks, and we moved a full year earlier than we were originally going to. I was just going to use to PTO to travel to the state we were thinking of moving to just to see if we liked it first. But we just flat out moved there immediately after my 2-week notice was up. If they literally let me have a couple of days off, they would have had me there for a whole year beyond that point. It's a good thing I left earlier though since I took Emma down with me. They would have had to deal with her for another year potentially.

My entire family always played games like minecraft and roblox and so it was always funny when someone came at one of us and started being mean cus they would always be older the the sibling they targeted yet younger then one of the others (my brother who is now 23, me at 18 and my younger sibling at 12 but weve been playing ever since i was like 6/7 and my brother was 11/12). My brother has sort of aged out of these games but I still play roblox (lost my minecraft account when the emails had to be switched as my old email didn't work anymore sadly) with my younger sibling occasionally and the number of times a group of older teenagers would harass them is shocking. Luckily i'd always be there to put them in their place, the most satisfying when we managed to get every other person on a game with us to help defend my sibling until they rage quit and we all became friends and played together for ages after.
Edit: Also back when i was young and played minecraft i would often get bullied by older kids, particularly boys, who would call me bad and everything, it was very funny to see their shocked messages in chat when they got beat by a 10 year old girl. Still happens now with my younger sibling who can beat me, and sometimes my brother, at a lot of games we play now. Age and gender have nothing to do with skill.

The third story is similar to mine. I had this important class where we had to submit a couple of coursework. The teacher would teach us the topic and give us a layout of what we should do to get the grades. Normally, me and a couple students would always get the top grades from other modules but this class was supposed to be the easiest. When we got our grades in the first round most of the class failed and some of us just got passing grades this happened for all the 3 coursework for her class. Me and my friends would go up to her and ask her for any feedback or improvement but she would always change her words and even when we made those changes she was not satisfied and change the layout one more time. Normally, we get 2 submissions for each coursework but for both submissions, 95% of the class failed and only a few of us passed. We still went up to her but she changed her mind again. So me and some other students went to other teachers and the head of department and complained because these grades were important for our uni application. The head knew that we should have gotten better grades so he talked to her and on the next lesson she came in tears and told us that we really hurt her and she never made any changes and made everything clear. We were all fed up so the next time we went to her and recorded the conversation showed it to the head and she was removed from that class and we got another submission where all of us passed and me and my friends got top grades.

Am i TA in the argument i just had with my friend?
    Let’s call her Chloe.
Chloe’s dog, Tucker, has been missing since about 3 thursday’s ago. Ever since i found out, i have been nothing but supportive. I was constantly asking questions about the dog and requesting updates on him and his situation. I even prayed for him and designed + printed missing posters for Tucker. I’m a huge animal lover, so i have been very concerned and tried my best to express it.
For weeks i would try to ask questions about the dog and tried to show my concern. However, some of the questions i asked came out a bit blunt or heavy, because i asked if he had died a few times. I did this out of ignorance but it was out of honest concern. The dog is 16 years old, small, and has a lot of health issues. Looking back the questions could have came out better, but my friend never mentioned or acted like the questions bothered her. In fact, most of the time she wouldn’t even take them seriously.
This went on for weeks (keep in mind all of these interactions happened in person) and she never said anything about them until i got an angry confrontational text today after school with her basically telling me off saying my questions were very rude and saying why would i ask those types of things, saying i was making fun of the matter. I quickly wrote a paragraph apologizing and trying to explain that none of my questions were asked with an ill intention or meant to ridicule the situation. I think i explained it pretty thoroughly. (chloe isn’t nessasarily the brightest person) yet her response to my paragraph was just her asking the same things and accusing me of the same things that i had already thourougly explained. I apologized once more and tried to tell her that i already answered her questions but it was like everything i said went through one ear and out the other. (I’m not even sure that she actually read my paragraphs because she began typing awfully quickly after i pressed send) I was confused at her lack of communication because we had seen each other pretty much every day up until here and there were a million other opportunities where she could have confronted me about it in person, yet she chose the moment we left school to say something over text (we have argued before and it was always the same thing, she just texted me after school and confronted me) which i get that it would be difficult to confront someone in person but i could tell the argument was spinning in an odd direction and she wasn’t soaking in anything i was saying. I brought up the posters that i made for her and how she wasn’t showing any appreciation for it and that it was a really nice jesture, and that she had not been very appreciative of them. I also questioned her about her odd choice of communication. It was the same answer; that i was being really rude and making fun of her dog and her while she was going through a tough time, and that i was really rude for saying she had bad communication skills. (i’m trying to sum up what she said more neatly because she’s not exactly the brightest and her arguments were very badly put together) and a lot of her responses to my paragraphs were “k.” and “oh.” At this point i started getting exasperated and snapped a bit. i told her that if she wanted to see what i said with ill intentions then that was fine and that i already explained myself and apologized several times, and i told her that her calling me rude after i’m doing nothing to deserve it was being rude on her part. I told her that me telling her that her communication skills weren’t good wasnt me being rude, and that she had tons of opportunities to bring the issue up in person yet she chose to do it over text once again. I told her she wasn’t even trying to understand, and that she was being petty and childish, to which she saw the moment i told her that, yet she replied about an hour or so later saying something along the lines of “k. wow thank you so much for being so rude and calling me petty and childish, what did i even do to deserve this bro, i am going through a bad time and you are making it worse.”
I understand she’s going through a rough time with her dog missing but that’s a reason for her actions, not an excuse.
Am i the asshole? please answer honestly, i value all feedback

Honestly Miss Frank should not be soo mean to her students but like if that person had such a hard time with basic materials than maybe they are just in the wrong class as well.

Every single one of these people got what they deserved. Regarding the last story: when I was in high school there was a teacher who told us that she and her husband both hated children and had both had surgery, They owned a very successful restaurant together and the husband was also a teacher in a different school district. She flat out admitted that they went into teaching only because they got a pension, medical insurance, and weekends, holidays, and summers off. So yes, there are people teaching who shouldn’t be teaching.

    First story: That's parenting.
Second story: petty. ROFL Sarah no longer has friends. That's what happens when you are an attention stealing jerk to your friends.
Third story: She must have been reported before, but no one did anything because no student got proof. Good for OP. Teachers are there to teach not bully and insult.

in 6th grade i had this science teacher who hated me for some reason. so i had a 504 plan at the time beause i'm deaf so i had to sit in the front of the class, and there was this girl who bullied me that i had in a note i couldn't sit next to. this teacher put me in the back of the class next to my bully and she refused to move me until it got to the point my mom had to have a meeting with her, the principal, and my counselor.

I have to disagree, Minecraft is for EVERYONE. I'm 56 and have been playing for over 8 years, my sister is 54 has been playing for 6 years. All our kids love the game and play at least occasionally (all are in their 20's) most of the huge Minecrafters on youtube are in their 20's or above. This poor child should not have been bullied but it happens all the time unfortunately.

Minecraft isn't a game for kids actually. You as a parent should be more careful of what your literal 8 year old is doing online. They can get hurt worse than this. Kids at 8 are still gullible, who knows what else couldve happened? Both op and the other kid's parents should be more careful of what their kid does online. I don't think using an online chat is good actually. They can give out personal information and all that. The kid is a douche and his father should've been more careful. But also OP should be more careful and remember their daughter is only 8.
