Andretti Chandler Arizona - Track 2

First time on this track. No traction whatsoever. Compared to videos of the track from a few months ago, its looks like the surface of the track has become very slick. Combined with hard compound tires it effortlessly drifts. The top lap times are also trending slower from 42s to 44+s. My best was a 46.566.
Track 2 is too Mario Kart for my liking, but I will say still fun in its own slip n slide way. Track 1 is much better with more grip and much better flow.

We are getting an Andretti in OKC next year but after watching some videos I wish it was K1 instead.

What was the issue with this place? I seen that it reviewed barley 3 stars compared to other tracks in the valley.

I’ve only been the once, but karting wise the surface was wayyy too slick which creates bad racing and a lot of crashes/spinouts which means slow downs. Completely different karting than say Octane.
The marketing is almost disrespectful/sad. The Andretti mini bio-pic “safety” video you have to rewatch every race promises the spirit of racing, but that authenticity is not what is delivered on their track.
That and somewhat expensive definitely leaves you wondering if it was worth. They seem to target the one time/yearly customers harder.
