@@mototaco6603 i know it's a sticky topic and heavily dependent on geography, but my suggestion would be a 'carb tuning for dummies' video. its the single biggest concern that's been keeping me from pulling the trigger. i'm in western PA, and travel between 800-1500ft of elevation. i don't want a DLX but have zero experience with carb tuning. i've heard the Nibbi 28mm comes practically perfect out of the box, but anything you could put out demystifying the carb tuning process would be awesome. maybe define terms like 'lean' and 'rich' with auditory examples... so many of the carb videos i've seen and blogs ive read have this presumption that newbies just automatically understand this stuff.
Hey brother I was wondering if you could help me out I just got my hawk dlx and thought I was changing my oil but took bold from underneath and not oil change bolt I think I drained the transmission Im new to this and was looking for some advice thanks
you are okay, re-insert the bolt tightly. there is no transmission fluid on this motorcycle. those are more common on 4 stroke racing bikes. on your hawk DLX the crank case and the piston share the same oil. all is well with your hawk, just do a normal oil change

Why not rip the inside of the speedometer cluster out and put the new one in. It looks like it's roughly the same diameter. Then, doing so, you wouldn't have to take up space on your handlebars.
@Moto Taco most definitely, bud. Think it would look really good that way. I've got a Hawk about a year ago, and I've been following you since. I've done a lot of the upgrades you have done. I'd like to say thanks. You have helped me out a lot. I'm doing the Smoke Mountain 500 this weekend on the Hawk. It's a 500 mile trail over 3 days. Should be fun.

i may actually do this. i'd need to feed the charging wire through the cluster but this can definitely work. that way itll look cleaner too good idea
