    And the next one is "Think Like an Engine"😁😁😁

    • @proton46
      @proton46 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I mean most engines don't do it that differently they go through each move in a position sorted by how likely it's a good move, attacking moves are better in some contexts for example or capturing a (potentially) hanging piece and the do that repeatedly until a certain depth is reached and then evaluate the position and return the best move it finds (the one with the that leads to the best evaluation)

    You need to make a video about the Portuguese Opening (e4 e5 Bb5). This is an uncommon opening outside Portugal. But it is very tricky. It is the best weapon of my father, since he has studied it and played it countless times. You can transpose to Ruy Lopez too. But the Portuguese Opening has its own variations and most players do not know how to refute it.

    Omg, now i know why i'm not a GM. To see white take a position that virtually 100% of amateurs would look upon as hopeless and turn it into a win, is nothing short of remarkable. Wow. Great video sir, very instructive. Thank you.

  • @elijahdaves1305
    @elijahdaves1305 หลายเดือนก่อน

    What this tells me is that since I did all the correct moves, I just don't spend enough time analyzing. I virtually never run out my clock on 10+ minute games and find it harder to be patient during a game than in a puzzle.

  • @iljavanpeel6397
    @iljavanpeel6397 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    The trap on 0:33 doesn't work! because after the black queen takes on h1 (Qxh1)and the white knight comes to trap on Ke2, the black knight does not have to take the pawn on g4 (Kxg4) but simply goes to e4 (Ke4), then bishop e3 (Be3), black plays g5 whereafter the black queen can escape and black wins without any problem.

    • @garhong9125
      @garhong9125 24 วันที่ผ่านมา

      What's the point of Be3? White can meet Knight going to e4 with Queen to d3. You either move the e4 knight (which allows the original trap) or lose it.

    At 8:14.....What about Qa5?

    • @infrences
      @infrences หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Without an engine, I’m thinking b4 leading to Qb6 and then c5 as the potential problem. The white bishop cannot be taken with Qxa6 because of Rd8+ followed by Kb7 and Rb8# (the black queen is on a6) and the black queen cannot go to c7 or d8 because of the bishop and rook respectively, meaning it can no longer defend on the diagonal. Furthermore, it cannot go to b8 since white’s dark-squared bishop still has eyes on that square, meaning that either the queen stays defending and gets captured or moves and black gets checkmated.

      @ I was hovering around low 600 and couldn’t seem to breakthrough. Now I’m 770 and climbing. I’m not employing too many of the opening traps that you see on this channel as those will only take you so far and most of my opponents aren’t playing normal chess moves because they are really still learning how to move the pieces and don’t understand strategy and tactics yet.
      What’s happening more and more often is that they’ll get a decent position but I find a way to counter it and they just quit. Straight up close the app. Don’t even resign.
      Another thing I’m experiencing is that they’ll blunder their queen early on and then offer a draw once I take it. I decline and then proceed to checkmate them 😂

    • @unclebob1959
      @unclebob1959 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Most opponents are just cheating anyway so if these moves don't work out just move on to the next player. I should be at 1200 or so but you know.

  • @petersusilo9588

    In chess, both bishops and knights would be very deadly if we don't careful. I ever put the rook or queen on the square where bishops can capture them, this is the most stupid blunder which makes me lose. Also, the knights can unexpectedly attack the king and rook/queen at the same time.
