How to fix / repair Olight S1R Baton II flashlight not working / not charging / not turning on

I know this is an older video, but thank you. I was having the exact same problem, and I took mine apart as you showed. I cleaned it with some 99.9% isopropyl alcohol and it's good to go now.

Have a couple of Perun headlights & a Seeker Pro, all have charge issues with the mag charger refusing to go RED unless you play around & move it back & forth till it goes from GREEN to RED. I'll give this a go otherwise stuck with expensive paperweights.

Love this video. Would just like to say I managed to fix mine by taking the battery out and reinserting it. Just thought some people might want to try that first

I have 2 olights and realized it was my battery. Once I swapped, it worked. I guess the batteries don’t last more than a few years. Btw - I hardly ever use these flashlights.

Mine would not work, always showed green light.
I removed the top, pressed the battery with my thumb and connected the charger.
Charge light turned red, so I screwed the top back in place and it started to charge properly again.
I suspect there's dirt in the connection at the base as Ed has shown.

Mine stopped working. I charged the battery but it won't turn on, I pressed the button a few seconds and light turn on for just a sec. Then I tried to press the button a few times and strobe mode got activated, after that, light is working properly.
Also, thanks for this video, I was going to try your method but apparently my S1r is good now. It is good to know how to clean it properly.

After mine quit working after 13 months, I removed the battery to inspect it and the inside of the flashlight. Nothing unusual so I put the battery back in and it worked again. Say what? I read that the battery can take 300-500 charges before dying so I ordered a new battery. Still not sure why removing the battery and immediately putting it back in solved the problem, at least temporarily I'm assuming.

My case for the baton 4 won't charge the light its brand new it worked first 2 times. Now the red indicator light doesn't even come on at all when in the case. Cleaned it and everything. Anyone have the same problem ?

I have this issue but out of the box brand new. I have contacted olight for a replacement and hoping for the best

I received one as a gift for Christmas.
Charged it initially and it charged fine. As soon as I noticed the light needed a recharge I put it on the charger and I noticed that the light in the charger stayed green… I am new to Olight, but I assumed it would turn red until the light was charged.
The next day I removed the light from the charger and the light still needed a charge.
I haven’t tried to fix it yet, but the thing is only a couple of weeks old.

Yea I have kind of the same issue ...
My charger light working and the torch will turn on but half of the time it might decide to turn its self off again after a few seconds and this is basically 'moon light 'mode only because it's nx to impossible to cycle out of moon and get anymore power out of her...
Occasionally she's splurt out a quick 'low power' when I try to cycle through modes after moon but then only hold there for five seconds MAX before turning off and going back to moon again ..
At the beginning of the time she originally started playing up,
holding the button and cycling could persuade a cheeky little SOS strobe briefly but alas....
Even that's only occurring maybe one in ten attempts now
An that's the sum of Er ...
Nothing else ...no medium or high power or even a quick sneeky but always welcomed double trouble finger play to go supea sian mode resides no longer in the line up...
I don't know what to do ?!
Any ideas ,suggestions so on & so ⁴th hints *tips knowledge on the matter greatly welcomed .

H2R will shut down when put in turbo. What gives? In fact, my H2R and my Perun-2 have gone nuts.
