Dan and Pat are the best at telling stories! And Dan's laugh xD priceless!!
The reason why Pat is cracking up so much about Dan's story is because that lady was actually Dan's mom who was running for office at the time
Holy shit really?
yeah. I lived down the street from her and she was very mean to me lol
Urashrimpimapimp Get out! You lived down the street from the Auerbachs?
+Urashrimpimapimp woops I meant *Pat's mom*
Dude! You lived across the street from Pat's mom? Lucky boi
i fucking love pat
I love the internet for letting me find this video 11 years later. Love The Black Keys!! 😀
On the record The Big Come Up it says (in the dedications) "to the bitches that stole Dan's car stereo (watch your backs)"
I think the record label got it wrong.
Oh man,..........just cant get enough of these guys !!! Their music is fresh,happening,....and out there !!! Go Pat and Dan !!!! :D
Dan's laugh at 2:22, priceless.
Absolute respect for these guys. Never really knew how good they were for a long time.
It’s a shame a lot of people don’t
LMAO, their stories made me laugh so hard! I just want to sit around with Dan and patrick and listen to their tales!
I can listen to them talking all the day!
That smoke bomb story is typical Akron.
Patrick: "It was the most soul-crushing experience I've ever had"
Dan: *snickering*
hahahaha these guys are sooo high
Dan has the best laugh ever.
The black keys interview: Patrick talks & Dan laughs :3
These guys have such funny stories they should write a book on them all haha
Storytime with Dan and Pat. :)
You guys need more of these videos, just the band chilling and talking about their childhood and stories.
Hey hey hey...No need for the hostility...I love The Black Keys...PERIOD...I feel like I "know" who Dan and Pat are through their music and interviews and stuff...No matter what they do I'm there supporting them all the way...Even if I tend to like their older stuff more, the black keys still rock
Stoned as fuck.
Yess and we love them
definitely love them, they are the best musicians that we have right now!
OMG that's great! I feel Pat's pain about telemarketing. I did that too for a while when I was young and I quickly got to the 'Fuck this.' point in that career endeavor.
Bpo jobs really sucks now Iam in kpo but still back end job sucks
Dude that's hilarious! I love these, keep it up!
LMAO love it, cant wait to see you guys this weekend!
they made me laugh too! i love Dan's laugh!
You're awesome. I love that kind of interview that really makes me laugh
Todos teníamos un amigo como Pat, cuando éramos colegiales, que sólo tenías que sentarte a su lado a escucharle contar historias y terminabas muerto de la risa y era como si nunca se le acabaran las historias más graciosas una tras otra de forma infinita
These guys are awesome, like their music - love it!!!
Dan's laugh is adorable
i'm glad that as they've gotten more famous, they haven't changed their interview style too much
U two r so delightful
love these guys
could watch these guys talk everyday.
this just puts a smile on my face :")
I love these guys so much :)
love u guys!
Dying for a new album u guys rock
The worst job is El Camino and Brothers.. the beginnignof the end.
Still my favorite band!
Dan's story was hilarious
HILARIOUS!!!!!
Dan's canvassing experience was hilarious and Pat's fireworks experience, well, just too damn funny.
I know, right! The fact that they listen to them at all, regardless of when they began to is really awesome, because they are an awesome fucking band.
THE BLACK KEYS ARE EPIC.
Hell of a season by the black keys
Dan's dying of laughter (':
I think almost everyone has a similar story from their work-life. Mine is from when i was about 13 years old - a paper-route and a bunch of phonebooks that never reached their destination, but a big dumpster instead. Who need those local phonebooks anyhow? :) Looking forward to seeing you guys in Copenhagen on the 13th.
I lmfao about Dan placing the flyers in the sewer...hilarious...a shitty job is better than not having one??? Oh Dan & Pat are "the ones"...awesome!!! Dan, did you write the song "I'm not the one" from the "flyer" job? haha...too fn funny...I love you guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AAAAND WEEEEE'RE THE GAMEGRUMPS!!!
I think they're gonna have some such a good time with Tegan and Sara :) awesome guys
Cool interview
Good stories and good luck Patrick in the Twitter thing!
See you guys on SATURDAYYYYYYYY
oh man i was dying throughout this video. lmfao
I couldn't stop laughing when they were laughing xD
My respect for them just went up.
I am from Russia, but it doesn't matter that much, as I am used to hearing all the weird accents. This time I understood almost all of it. By the way, you 'mericans are quite lucky as you can go to The Black Keys' concerts.
STILL, I DO REQUEST A TRANSCRIPTION! :3
this was awkwardly so great to watch.
how cool .
LOL!!! Boys will be boys... That is hilarious!
mint !
thanks
Black KEYS Rock
It made them what they are today but they wouldn't be near as successful if they wouldn't have changed it up. They were selling out clubs, now they're selling out stadiums.
El Camino wasn't the best but I think they deserve a little slack, it's hard to follow up "Brothers". Lonely Boy & Little Black Submarines are already classics. And I completely agree with you on Gold on The Ceiling, I hear that shit everywhere I go! I liked the song before it was overplayed so much.
thats a WIN
Happened to me yesterday shit just got real.
"Hell of a Season"
I bet I have that same shirt you're talking about :P
they are so baked.
You're crazy, they can't just keep playing the same old shit... Bands that stay alive, experiment with different styles of music. All bands do this. You can only hear so much of their old shit before it all starts sounding the same. I got mad respect for all their shit.
i agree, like what YOU want to like.
Another short clip from this interview coming at ya in another 3 months! :D
-continued... And they would have failed if they kept making the same old blues rock. They've gained a hell of a lot more fans since they released Brothers.
Wow you are soooooo cool.
you sir are welcome here anytime you like
Freakin hilarious
Fuckin' Dan got a so nice laugh!
Lets hope
Nice
black keys :)!
Was the park that you caught on fire Hardesty Park?
LOL!
I'd like to know what the other cop car story was.
they are so high :)
same
Same thing happen to me with a flyer job. But instead of throw away the flyers, I take it home and recycle the paper.
you guys looked baked
Done everyone of those jobs & guess what, in my adult life of zero dreams fulfilled but oh so many nightmares come true, they don't even come close to shit...
LOL! -- ROFL!
Where did Dan throw the flyers in? I can't understand haha
I just saw sarcasm in the last few sentences. My response, however, was to the other arguments present in the comment. Even if everything was meant as sarcasm, I still thought it was prudent to give my opinion, seeing as a lot of people have those same arguments. But whatever. As others have said before me, hipster or not, all that matters is the music. If it's good, it's good. 'Nuff said. ;)
There are probably a few songs, I just know the last one is "Hell of a Season"
the look like they just woke up lol
Ladies and gentlemen... I present to You *drum roll*... Seven asses.
ahahhaha they're fucking awesomely lmao.=D
No arguement there even I did local paper rounds and washed dishes, didn't particulary enjoy them especially the latter.
Because there's a lot of those individuals in the world.
What song was being played in the background? Please!
Their new cd's badass if you open your mind(I didn't like it at 1st). Their old sound was great but it all sounded the same after awhile.
High as fuck.
Pat must be, like, a wanted man in Akron, man. X)
