Recently got back from South of France and just realized this is a. Place i woukr love to come back over and over again.Hoping to be back in near future with my children.
(from Sharon, Australia) Just across that bridge is the lesser known, but in my opinion equally interesting, town of Villeneuve les Avignon. Filled with multiple historical places of interest. A welcome reprieve from the busyness of Avignon. Absolutely worth the effort!!
I really like this channel. Real people showing off real places. No time consuming b-rolls, no instagram poses, and a focus on history and culture of other societies and places. So refreshing. Subscribed as I plan for a trip to France in March 2025! Thank you!
I went to Paris solo 2 weeks ago (my first time being in France) and glided through transport, scenery, restaurants and museums with SO MUCH EASE because of you two! I am so so grateful and I pray you continue to grow and you have even more opportunities to show us the beauty of France. I am incredibly grateful 🙏 ❤️
I love that you’re including other regions of France on your channel as well as Paris! I have enjoyed these trips with you & my “List du Bucket” has exploded as a result. Thanks so much!
Colleen and Antoine, your videos have such warmth and joie de vivre , as I watch you eat and toast wine glasses, I feel part of your lovely dinners and pastry adventures. Merci ❤🇲🇫🌹
Once again...THANK YOU!!! We just left our first AMAZING trip to France and are planning our return for next Spring to tour the Southern and Eastern coasts. Avignon was also on my bucket list, but we are definitely adding all of these locations in our 2024 itinerary. Merci!!!
From the USA. I will never be able to travel to Frnace due to my limitations. It gives me so much pleasure to travel with you both all over France. Merci Beaucoup
Always a pleasure touring any part of France with Les Frenchies...the beauty of the countryside, your faces with excitement entering every nook, the food symphony, striped tops or not, new experiences in rural Provence, wine...more wine! Your daughter is good enough to join you as a guide...a natural. Hi from Wisconsin 🍺 😊
It was great to see other parts of France. France has so many interesting places and each is unique so you could easily spend six months showing us around and no one would get bored. You need more family members visiting you as that seems to be when you hit the road. I remember your son visiting and you took us to some interesting places at that time as well. Great vlog.
Excellent video, as always. It was nice to see other cities in France. I was in Paris and Lyon in May. Now I have other areas to try when I plan my next trip. Also, I love to see Antoine's face when he is eating something really good!
I stayed in Aix-en-Provence for the last lavander's season. I went around in the Provence region and simply love it. Unfortunately, I didn't reach Saintes Maries de La Mer as I was afraid of the riots in Marseille. After, I went to Paris and had a great time there specially because of yours vídeos and so many tips. Merci!! Salute from Brasil.
I discovered your channel when I was making plans to visit Europe in August(2024). Your video on how to use the RER was of immense help as I had to go from DeGaulle airport to Gare de Lyon on my way to Switzerland (don't ask why I flew into Paris). As for you visit to Provence, I spent I week on Aix en Provence -great city - a must see place - after a week in Interlaken, one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Using Aix as a base, I did go to Pont du Gard and Avignon and visited three wineries, two specializing in Rose. I will definitely use your channel for future trips.
This is the story of my teenage years: my mum and stepdad's favourite places. I remember us driving overnight down to the Pont du Gard, and even grumpy teenage me was grudgingly impressed by its beauty in the dawn. Thanks for the memories, and for reminding me to go back soon.
Absolutely amazing!! I’m so glad I can travel with you two! I’ve been a Francophile since twelve and have only been once for a week. I desperately want to go back, but for now, your videos give me all the feels of France.
Thank you for this glorious trip away from Paris. How fab to share this with your daughter and friend. It’s always a pleasure watching your delight at eating great, yummy food. ❤
So well thought out! My wife suddenly dropped a quick trip to France on me, a TH-cam search for planning ideas and I found your channel. I ran your choices of destination with a friend who lives in Paris, and he totally agreed with your places to visit, so I've decided to copy and paste!! Thank you! I'm apprehensive enough as it is not being able to speak French, this is so helpful.. Now to study up your Paris videos, spending a couple of days there too!
Absolutely adore this channel. The loveliest couple, great food, excellent descriptions of the food, and no annoying fluff like most other TH-cam travel videos have. Thank you for making this great content Les Frenchies.
You sure didn’t waste any time completing yet another item on your bucket list. Beautifully shot locations and food, and the narration had just enough history without being overwhelming. Merci for a wonderful episode!
You're both really lovely company, thoughtful and kindly guides/enthusiasts, passionate and animated eaters . Have shared your videos with a relative and a dear friend. Really great company from the other side of a pixelated screen. Very pleased to have discovered you, like you both, and appreciate the tenor and quality of your shared journey and partnership. This video /its details - particularly magical.
Having been to all of the places you covered in your video, it was so nice to see them all again as it’s been a while! I absolutely loved Saintes Marie de la Mer and found it a wonderful laid back and chilled seaside town which was a great place to walk for miles. Driving through the Camargue is special and the horses are beautiful. Thank you both😍😍
Loved this video, thank you!!! Beautiful scenery and excellent food! I have been to many parts of France but not this one. Definitely on my list of places to visit soon!!
My husband and I made a trip to the south of France several years ago. We went to Nice, Cannes & Saint Paul de Vence but I mostly wanted to visit Arles. Our travel agent had never heard of Arles and didn't know how to get us there....The next time we travel to France, your videos will be me tour guide!
Truly a lovely video, thank you. Just a small point for Van Gogh fans visiting Arles. Yes he lived and painted here, and was hospitalized here. You can easily follow in his footsteps. However, there are no Van Gogh paintings here. There is a Van Gogh Center but they don’t have any of his art. Go to Paris or Amsterdam to see that. Just so you’re not disappointed.
Hello my friends! This is a wonderful video and you both look fabulous! Thank you for this tour. You made our recent visit to France so perfect with your recommendations. Hugs to you both until we meet.
Another super long weekend trip out of Paris! I've been to Nimes, Arles & Avignon & most of Provence but you gave me a few new stops to hit! I loved that country house! Keep up the long weekend trip foremat. It's very enjoyable & informative even for me a foodie of more than 55 years! Yes, a car is the way to go once your out of Paris! Especially with 4 people travelling together! Those escargots looked so delicious!
What a trip! I would especially enjoy Arles, both for the Van Gogh aspect and the ancient history. I am learning new things from your videos! Pont du Gard! 2000 year old Roman aqueduct! Amazing! Colleen, your flowered blouse looks lovely. Great color for you!
Well done, Les Frenchies! I have followed you on your travels and eats through Paris, which was great. Keep travelling elsewhere in France, as it's fantastic to see all the sights, sounds and excellent food. Thank you for the upload.
Now I'm homesick. I spent the fall semester of my college career in Montpellier, so I remember seeing a few of the beautiful areas that you've just taken us to. But as a poor college student I didn't see all that there was to see. I would love to return one day and sit on the beach Plage Palavas- les-Flots and reminisce as well as to visit the area again. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
11:00 Aigues-Mortes (Dead Waters). When it was still a port King Louis IX (Saint Louis) embarked on his fleet to sail to Tunisia where he crusaded, and died of the plague - which throws a doubt about his personal hygiene.
You know I really appreciate your vlogs and this one was again a wonderful gem! You make us want to travel with you. So much warmth, enjoyment, and pleasure. Thanks again!!!
Love this channel and to be taken along on their adventures! All the food looks delicious. No bad meals on this trip! Would love to go along with them.
Thank you for putting the names of the menu items, restaurants, etc. on your video. I am google staring your locations and placing notes on what to order! Super helpful!
As an avid Van Gogh and Picasso fan, this would be my dream trip. The Langlois Bridge at Arles, Ladies of Avignon, and other paintings by the masters during the era are a representation of what human kind has been able to achieve. You must feel so satisfied.
*When we were in France, we were briefly in Avignon* *Stayed near the beautiful, ancient town of Mormorion* !! *Chateau Pesquie is the winery where we stayed* !! *Can NOT wait to go back to Avignon and Chateau Pesquie* !! *Thank you for a FRESH look at Provence* !! #LesFrenchies
Thank you very much for showing us other cities from France besides Paris. I dream of a road trip from Marseille to the border with Italy. And maybe more. 😊❤
I was just in Marseille in mid-June, for the 1st time. One of my nephews goes to the university there. I loved Marseille! The people were so friendly, and would jump in to help me in English, when I wasn’t with my French nephews. I definitely want to go back, soon!
I am new to this channel. I absolutely love watching these video's. Most importantly, I truly enjoy this wonderful and caring couple. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication.
#1 you guys have a great vibe! #2 really great job on the videos! OMG the music is the perfect level! #3 Love your joie de vivre and laid back approach to life. Oh yeah! and the enjoyment of food!
Thoroughly enjoyed seeing another part of France. The wine tasting was perfect - tipsy for sure but you can stay put, eat good food and then toddle off to bed. The after dinner walk was probably hilarious. 😂
I enjoy every video you produce! My brothers are hooked now. This was absolutely one of the most enjoyable ones. I wanted to devour all of your meals! Wow! Thank you! ❤️❤️
Wow! Those dishes look awesome. I'm in Provence too, at the moment. We're staying in Nice while we shop every day for the renovation project of our house in Saint-Paul-de-Vence.
I visited France earlier this year - my last trip was 30 years ago. It's harder to find traditional French food in France than it used to be - so many places just serve burger/fries. In the old days every place would serve traditional French food. I found i needed to really research restaurants to identify ones which serve some traditional french dishes
Thanks for the memories. Been to Arles and Avignon. It not Nimes or the Pont du Gard. You know all the cool places to stay and eat without all the hype. If I ever get back I will have to go through your vlogs
Very cool! We just went to Nimes and Arles, staying in Avignon, last week. And I drove down that very street in Avignon - and you are right it was not made for cars!! BTW, your channel was very helpful for the Paris part our trip! 👍🏻
Those two + the other special two killed it again! That was a special one. It felt so good, beautiful, nature, harmony, peace, balance and joy. Fantastic surroundings that I felt you truly enjoyed and perhaps secretly was longinging for more time around. Extremely charming region indeed. You did the right choice for your trip with loved ones. I truly enjoyed. Avignon....you said it,its something about it. All the places were fantastic. Good choice of places to stay and of course those meals! I was there with you on the table. Its not to miss for sure and you expressed it so well. I like how your daughter shared her opinion about the food too. It seems she posses the same appreciation about quality and taste like you. Its not hard in the end- its France. Hard to beat the food. The pink colour shirt was looking elegant and fresh. Another very enjoyable episode from you. Thank you and take care. :)
Beautiful video thank you so much for taking us along. Colleen and Antoine your are such a wonderful special couple. My hubby and l so enjoy your videos he is Greek Cypriot and l am Scottish. Sending Love and Best Wishes from Scotland ❤xx
What a great trip and fantastic food! The Luberon villages are another must see of Provence just east of Avignon, but NOT in July or August as the high heat and tourist hordes make this less wonderful than it is. 🥂

Don’t know if I can presume to recommend a place to Les Frenchies, but….Noirmoutier is an amazing place to visit and the place we stayed in, an auberge, where the chef was one of the proprietors. Our dinner was possibly the best meal I ever had, or one of them. Not too many outside tourists there, or none. Seemed like another example of what you said: where French people go on holiday
Easily one of the best travel channels - this couple should be so proud of what they’re doing
Agree!!
I agree look forward to each and every video🎉
Absolutely agree.
Totally love them. Such great videos!
I am unsubscribing... There's too much of watching them eat.
Thank you for showing us other parts of France. It is such a gorgeous country.

We traveled through Provence in 2010 and loved every minute of our trip. Thanks for reminding us of the beauty of southern France. We need to go back!
I love the Paris videos but these side trips outside of Paris have made me want to come back to explore more.
Can't wait to see how many you hit!
I love that you’re including other regions of France on your channel as well as Paris! I have enjoyed these trips with you & my “List du Bucket” has exploded as a result. Thanks so much!

Good one. Good food and wine. Good amount of details (not too long). Thank you very much for sharing.

What a great trip and fantastic food! The Luberon villages are another must see of Provence just east of Avignon, but NOT in July or August as the high heat and tourist hordes make this less wonderful than it is. 🥂
Lovely vid. You captured beauty, history, and the wine and food of Provence in under 20 minutes!
We enjoy your vlog very much. A little correction if we may: popes lived in Avignon in the 14.century over 70+ years, not hundreds of years. We are looking forward to the next episode. Thank you.

Great to see you out and about in another part of France. I’m looking forward to move of these videos.
I already purchased their Paris bakeries and restaurant guide. Can’t wait to try the recommended places. Merci beaucoup!
Wonderful narrative Colleen. My husband and I watched it while enjoying lunch with Rosé. We even had "filet mignon". Thanks for a great video.
